Since 1990 s,China has been involved in the field of teacher professional development.Under the efforts of national scholars,it has gone through 20 years of research and development,and has achieved some results.In the past 20 years,the professional development of teachers has aroused widespread concern in the education sector and the group of teachers and students,teachers' professional development level directly affects the quality of teachers determines the teaching effect,but for Xinjiang area physics teacher professional development has never entered the researcher's attention,it is very necessary so the study on the professional development of Xinjiang capital of Urumqi city high school physics teachers,this is a positive promoting role for the city of Urumqi high school physics teachers' professional development,can improve the quality of teachers,improve the teaching effect.This study first on "professional" and "teacher" and "teacher specialization","physics teacher professionalization" these theoretical category of collation,recent relevant studies,find out the contact,understand its meaning,will range from large to small detailed literature review writing physics teacher professionalization.Secondly,92 high school physics teachers from 22 different schools in Urumqi were investigated by questionnaires and interviews to understand the current situation of physical teachers' professional development.After analyzing the objective data,it is found that there are several problems in the development of physics teachers in this area: 1.teachers' recognition degree and satisfaction degree of their professional development are not high.2.the pressure of teachers is too big,which hinders the professional development.3.the professional training course does not match the teacher's weakness.4.teachers are weak in their awareness of professional development and lack of planning.Finally,based on the analysis of the causes of the problems,according to the actual situation of the local area,four points are put forward for Urumqi high school physics teachers' Professional Development: 1.,change the concept of teachers' professional development.2.relieve the pressure of teachers and promote the professional development of teachers.3.improve the model of teacher training and improve the quality of training.4.strengthen the awareness of teachers' professional development and improve the external environment for teachers' professional development.
