An Application Research On The Project Teaching Method In Secondary Vocational Tourism English Teaching

Project teaching method emphasizes student-centered,task-centered and teacher-led teaching.Students,teachers or teachers and students plan the implementation of the project jointly,divide the learners' work in the groups and create the project implementation situation.Students collect and sort out the project materials independently,and complete the project through their own knowledge,experience and operational skills,so as to improve the teaching quality.The project teaching method is applied to the "tourism English" teaching in the secondary vocational schools,you can make up for the deficiency of the traditional classroom teaching mode effectively,and play a positive role to improve students' English comprehensive application ability,At the same time,on the basis of "teaching,learning and doing" integrated teaching,project teaching method is an effective means to improve students' tourism English application ability and vocational comprehensive competitiveness.This paper aims at the application of project teaching method in the teaching of tourism English in secondary vocational schools,following the design principle of project practicability,the teaching principle of students' subjectivity,the learning principle of group cooperation,and the principle of diversified evaluation.Implement the project by analyzing the learning situation,assigning project tasks,discussing ingroups,making plans and assigning tasks.Finally,a project teaching model suitable for tourism professional English teaching in secondary vocational schools will be formed.Through relevant research and analysis of application results,this paper mainly draws the following three conclusions:1.The application of project teaching method in tourism English teaching puts forward higher requirements on vocational English teachers' professional quality,information quality and teaching skills.2.The application of project teaching method in tourism English teaching can help students form good interest gradually and motivation in English learning during the completion of learning projects,and play a positive role in fostering students' cooperative learning,cooperative ability and innovative spirit.3.The application of project teaching method in tourism English teaching can better to English learning and highly integrated professional courses,students will also be able to mobilize students' participation the enthusiasm of English study and practice,and on the basis of students' subjectivity into full play,improve secondary vocational tourism English "teaching" and "learning" efficiency.
