With the rapid development of technology,the progress of learning theory,and the needs of social development,smart learning and smart education have gradually emerged and developed rapidly.Digital people living in the information age are calling for a higher-end learning environment.The development of innovative technologies such as 5G,artificial intelligence,and the Internet of Things provides technical conditions for building a smart learning environment.Therefore,the emergence of smart learning environment can be said to be a positive response to the high-end form of digital learning environment.The author's research finds that many practical courses in colleges and universities currently have problems such as large numbers of students,limited teaching hours,insufficient experimental equipment,insufficient interaction between teachers and students,insufficient student preparations before class,and lack of supervision after class.Collaborative learning also has problems such as lack of intelligent communication equipment.Collaborative learning is now carried out in a smart learning environment,which has changed the traditional teacher-centric shortcomings of traditional classrooms,and has also provided an advanced technical environment for collaborative learning.This research focuses on the design and practice of collaborative learning activities supported by smart learning environments.Based on collaborative learning theory,constructivist learning theory,multiple intelligence theory,and activity theory,the author explores the design and practice of collaborative learning activities supported by smart learning environments,using research methods such as literature research,design-based research,action research etc..The purpose is to promote the improvement of learners' academic performance,improve the initiative and enthusiasm of learners in collaborative learning,and provide new teaching ideas and methods for traditional experimental courses.First,the article analyzes the current status of research on smart learning environments and collaborative learning at home and abroad,and defines the concepts of smart learning environments,collaborative learning,and learning activities.Second,it analyzes the design principles and design basis of the collaborative learning activity framework in detail,and uses this as a basis to build a collaborative learning activity framework supported by a smart learning environment.Then,taking the photography course as an example,the article conducts three rounds of action implementation,and reflects on the actual situation observed in each round of the classroom and the reflection of the questionnaire to revise the implementation details and refine the coding of collaborative learning activities.Finally,the feasibility and effectiveness of the collaborative learning activity framework supported by the smart learning environment is verified by analyzing student performance and quantitative analysis of classroom behavior.The research results show that the collaborative learning activities supported by the smart learning environment can improve learners' learning interest and academic performance,promote learners to actively and effectively participate in collaborative learning,and at the same time can promote students' ability to cooperate and communicate in collaborative learning activities,and enhance their sense of collective responsibility.
