With the development of information technology,the tablet computers have gradually entered the classrooms of both primary schools and middle schools.Experts and scholars from home and abroad are actively exploring the effectiveness of teaching with the help of tablet computers.The study found that tablet use can actively cultivate students' abilities,such as independent study,problem-finding,problem-solving and cooperative inquiry.It is common to apply tablet computers to daily teaching life in author's junior middle school.However,the author discovered that tablet using caused many problems in the junior middle school chemistry teaching.By consulting the literature,we also have not found any master's thesis on the practical research of tablet computer using in chemistry teaching in junior middle school.In order to study whether the tablet computer is really helpful to junior middle school chemistry teaching and how to play the role of the tablet computer effectively in junior middle school chemistry teaching,the author has determined this research topic to carry out the research.It covers the following six areas:The first part elaborates the research background and the research significance of this paper.The author consults the literature and understand the current research situation of the tablet computer using in education teaching at home and abroad.The author finally determines the research content,draws up the research thought flow chart,determines the research methods as follows: Literature Research method,practical teaching research method,Questionnaire Survey Research method and individual interview method.In the second part,the concepts of "tablet computer","tablet computer teaching" and "APP" are defined.The functions of tablet computer and teaching APP are introduced,and the theoretical basis of the research is put forward.In the third part,seven typical cases are selected to show the teaching design and effect analysis,the role of tablet computer using in the pre-class,mid-class,post-class,new class,exercise class,experiment class,unit test and hierarchical teaching.Through the analysis of case 1 to case 3,it can be seen that tablet computer teaching,compared with the traditional information technology teaching,has truly realized the self-preparation before class,the targeted inquiry in class,and the one-to-one tutoring after class.It increases the teacher-student interaction and student-student interaction in the classroom.It also improves the students' attentiveness in classroom learning by using some functions of the tablet computer,such as race answer,lottery and live broadcast of experiments.Using shared folders can provide a large number of videos,documents and other information.Through case 4 to case 7,it fully demonstrates the powerful data statistic function,the timely feedback function,the hierarchical learning function and the interactive function of the Message Center.In the fourth part,the author carries on some questionnaire surveys.The respondents are including the author's students using tablet teaching,all students of Grade Nine,all chemistry teachers in the school.At the same time,five typical students,five chemistry teachers and five non-chemistry teachers who are good at using flat plate are interviewed about the effectiveness of tablet computer using.The analysis of the above questionnaire shows that teachers and students are using tablets more and more.Most students and teachers are willing to use tablets in chemistry class.It is found that the tablet provides many functions which can not be replaced by the traditional classroom.It also improves the efficiency of classroom teaching.The positive effects of the tablet teaching are affirmed by teachers and students.Through the interview,we further understand the specific functions of the tablet computer which teachers and students like.At the same time,we also know the problems it reflects in actual application.Take hardware,software,network and teachers into consideration,we provide some suggestions which promote the improvement and renewal of the tablet computer,the full integration of the tablet computer and teaching,and the effective use of the tablet computer in the junior middle school chemistry teaching.In the fifth part,this paper expounds in details the changes brought by the introduction of the tablet computer in the aspects of teaching ideas,teaching designs,teaching resources,requirements for teachers' abilities,students' learning modes,students' evaluation modes,information literacy training modes,etc.Meanwhile,according to the characteristics of juniormiddle school chemistry,this paper puts forward the advantages of tablet computer in teaching,the problems and the suggestions in the application of tablet computer using in chemistry teaching of junior middle school.In the sixth part,the author finds that the questionnaire can be further improved.The scope of the study is limited to the foreign languages school in Panzhihua.In order to solve these problems,it is necessary to carry on more relevant researches and practice in the future.
