It is the common responsibility of the whole society to popularize and strengthen national defense education,and every citizen has the right and obligation to receive national defense education.Teenagers are the future of the motherland.They bear the ardent hope of the Chinese nation's great rejuvenation of the "Chinese dream" and the "dream of a strong country".They are the new force of modernization and the backbone of national defense in the future.National defense education starts from the campus and from childhood.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping has raised the national defense education to the height of the major principles of governing the party and the country,pointed out the ideological direction for the development of national defense education,and put forward higher requirements for the national defense education of the whole people,especially for the national defense education of all kinds of schools at all levels.However,the development of national defense education in urban and rural areas is not balanced.Rural primary schools are faced with the problems of weak awareness of national defense education and weak teaching force.Under the background of increasingly fierce international military competition and increasingly complex national defense situation,it is an urgent need to carry out effective national defense education in rural primary schools.In order to master the situation of national defense education in rural primary schools,this paper uses the methods of investigation and interview to investigate 12 rural primary schools in Y county.The paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly includes the background,purpose,content and significance of the research on national defense education,the review of relevant research at home and abroad and the identification of relevant concepts,research methods,key points,difficulties and innovation points;the second chapter is the understanding of the significance of Rural National Defense Education in Y County,the organization and leadership of the school,the curriculum setting and implementation of national defense education,teachers This paper makes an investigation,statistics and analysis of the state of national defense education from seven aspects: the personnel,teaching conditions and education management.The third chapter analyzes the problems existing in the education management system,resource input,professional teacher team composition,national defense education teaching content,teaching methods,and family education concept of Y County Rural Primary School Based on the interviews with the education administrative departments,schools,teachers and parents of national defense education;the fourth chapter analyzes the national defense education consciousness,national defense education management system,national defense education concept,etc The fifth chapter puts forward the measures and methods to improve the national defense education of rural primary schools in Y county from the aspects of attaching importance to national defense education,improving the organization and management system of national defense education,changing the forms and methods of national defense education,and improving the patriotic consciousness of students.
