A new round of Chinese education reform reiterates the whole book reading and places it in a crucial position of Chinese curriculum.Compared with chapter reading,the teaching of whole book reading can effectively integrate the content of Chinese curriculum and promote the deep reform of it.So how to carry out the reading teaching of the whole Chinese book in junior middle school with the new curriculum standard is a problem that worthy of our in-depth study.While make sure it can promote the development of the students' Chinese core literacy,and also make the Chinese teaching methods present diversity.This paper attempts to take the compulsory reading book “Red Star Over China” recommended by the eighth grade of the middle school Chinese textbook as an example to discuss the teaching of whole book reading,hoping to promote the reading teaching of the whole book in junior middle school,improve the effectiveness of teaching,and make new curriculum reform is truly implemented.This paper can be divided into the following parts: the introduction part outlines the origin,significance,current situation and methods of the whole book reading teaching research,and explores the theoretical significance and practical value of this research in multiple dimensions.The first chapter is about what and why.First of all,it summarizes the related concepts of the whole book reading teaching in junior middle school,and clarifies the connotation and characteristics of the whole book reading teaching;secondly,it analyzes the theoretical basis and practical basis of the whole book reading teaching,and from the aspects of core Chinese literacy,that is,“learning”,the status of reading teaching,that is,“teaching”,and the reading test questions of famous books,that is,“review”,explains why the whole book reading teaching should be carried out.Chapter two to chapter three discuss the problem of “how to do”,trying to make the whole book reading teaching from the theoretical level to the operational level.Taking “Red Star Over China” as an example,the author makes the specific practice of the whole book reading teaching from the aspects of teaching preparation,teaching implementation and evaluation.Among them,teaching preparation includes four parts: clarifying value orientation,determining teaching objectives,promoting reading materials and planning teaching guidance;while teaching implementation and evaluation focus on pre-reading guided lessons,full-read guidance lessons,post-read study lessons,and post-read presentation lessons The teaching design and the specific presentation of the process-based evaluation based on learning performance and the final evaluation based on the learning achievements,try to show the teaching guidance system of the entire system.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the teaching feedback of reading the whole book,that is,the question of how after the implementation of the teaching,which discusses the learning effectiveness of students from four perspectives: enhancing reading interest,cultivating reading habits,mastering reading methods,and moving towards reading depth,And combined with specific teaching practice,from the aspects of classic personality,new media environment,reading process management and teacher professional development aspects of teaching reflection,so as to provide reference and suggestions for the better teaching of the whole book reading.
