This paper,guided by "the whole book reading and discussion" in "the chinese curriculum standard of senior high school "(2017 edition)and combined with " the guide reading of famous works " in junior high school,determines the research object of Red Star Over China,which is the guide reading work of the third unit of the eighth grade.By combing the existing research on reading teaching of the whole book and the teaching research of Red Star Over China,the present research situation of reading teaching design of the whole book Red Star Over China is obtained.On this basis,the concept of reading teachin This paper,guided by "the whole book reading and discussion" in "the chinese curriculum standard of senior high school "(2017 edition)and combined with " the guide reading of famous works " in junior high school,determines the research object of Red Star Over China,which is the guide reading work of the third unit of the eighth grade.By combing the existing research on reading teaching of the whole book and the teaching research of Red Star Over China,the present research situation og and the teaching value of Red Star Over China are determined.Through the distribution of teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire to understand the teaching status of the whole book Red Star Over China,the teaching suggestions and designs of the three types of Red Star Over China,promoting course and the exchange report exhibition course are carried out.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,the main content is the origin of the study,the theoretical and practical significance of the study,elaborated on the Red Star Over China the whole book reading teaching design at home and abroad,clear research purposes and methods and innovations.The second part is to define the related concepts of reading teaching in the whole book Red Star Over China.At the same time,it analyzes the teaching value of Red Star Over China from four aspects: language construction and application,thinking promotion and development,aesthetic appreciation and creation,cultural inheritance and understanding.The third part is the analysis of the current teaching situation of Red Star Over China,which distributes questionnaires to students and teachers,understands the teaching situation of the whole book of Red Star Over China,and analyzes its causes.The fourth part discusses the teaching suggestions and teaching design of the whole reading teaching of Red Star Over China.The teaching suggestions are given from three aspects: version selection,reading method introduction and class time arrangement.The teaching design mainly revolves around these three aspects.To promote the promotion of the course from the choice of teaching content and the development of teaching links to give two aspects of teaching advice,mainly select small people and big people,big events and faith and spirit of the three sections of the teaching design.The exchange report presentation class gives the teaching suggestion from the two aspects of classroom activity organization and preparation,feedback and summary after class,and carries on the teaching design from the reading exchange meeting and the speech contest two activities.The fifth part is teaching evaluation,which is mainly divided into evaluation subject and evaluation method.The main body of evaluation is teachers,students and parents,which affect the final evaluation results.The method of evaluation consists of diagnostic evaluation,process evaluation and summative evaluation,which runs through the whole reading teaching of Red Star Over China.Due to the limited time and author's ability,there are still some shortcomings in this paper.There are still many contents worth studying on the reading teaching design of the whole book Red Star Over China,which have not been deeply discussed and studied.At the same time,the teaching design of this paper has not been put into practice in the Chinese classroom,there are still many places to be improved,and it is expected that there will be opportunities for practice,further improvement and reflection in the future teaching work.To provide reference and help for front-line teaching.
