Objective: To test the physiological and biochemical indexes of the two groups of male race walkers in each stage of winter training, and to explore whether the combined use of sports nutrition supplements can affect the body function of the athletes. Methods:Eight excellent male race walkers were divided into two groups, each group with 4participants.The experimental group received nutritional intervention during winter training, while the control group only received carbohydrate supplement. All stages of winter training were monitored, and various indicators reflecting the body function of the athletes were tested, including morning pulse, red blood cell number, white blood cell number, hemoglobin number, serum creatine kinase, blood urea, serum testosterone and serum cortisol. Finally, all data of the two groups of race walkers were analyzed. Results:After the basic stage of winter training, there was no significant difference between the physiological and biochemical indexes of the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).After winter training, the morning pulse, red blood cell number, white blood cell number, hemoglobin number, cortisol, serum testosterone and cortisol ratio of the experimental group were significantly different from the control group(P<0.05),and the serum creatine kinase and blood urea were significantly different from the control group(P<0.01).Winter training adjustment stage after the experimental group on the number of white blood cells number, number of red blood cells, hemoglobin, blood urea, serum testosterone and serum testosterone and cortisol ratio compared with the control group with significant difference(P < 0.01),the morning pulse value compared with the control group with significant difference(P < 0.05),serum creatine kinase compared with the control group there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Through comparison,it can be found that the intervention of sports nutrition supplements can improve the physiological and biochemical indexes and improve the body function of athletes, but there is no obvious effect in the basic stage.
