Xi Jinping stressed that the course of ideological and political theory is the key course to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating talents.Adolescent stage is the "jointing booting stage" of life,which needs careful guidance and cultivation.It can be seen that the ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools is of great importance to the cultivation of socialist builders and successors.Since the reform and opening up,western culture has continuously entered China and exerted an influence on ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools,both positive and negative.In the context of internationalization and globalization,it is impossible to avoid contact with western culture completely and not be influenced by it.Therefore,it is necessary to face up to the influence of western culture on Chinese primary and middle school students,absorb the reasonable resources of western culture,and help Chinese primary and middle school students to set up the values of correct treatment of western culture.Therefore,the rational use of the positive aspects of western culture to promote ideological and political education in China's primary and secondary schools is a problem worth studying.Based on the understanding of western culture,which is mainly based on animation,music and film and television,and the basic ideological and political contents of primary and secondary school students in China,this paper analyzes the internal relationship between western culture and ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools in China.It is considered that ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools in China needs to draw lessons from western culture,which provides important cultural resources for ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools in China.Western culture has a certain impact on ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools in China,mainly in two aspects.On the one hand,western culture has played a positive role in enriching the teaching content of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools,meeting the needs of multicultural development of primary and secondary school students and strengthening the cultural educational function of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools in China.On the other hand,the western culture has played a negative role in theeducation function of the mainstream ideology in our country,and the strengthening of the identity of the primary and middle school students in our country and the formation of correct values have had a negative impact on the education function of the mainstream ideology in our country.In order to give full play to the positive influence of western culture in ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools in our country,we should adhere to the following principles when drawing lessons from western culture: the guiding position principle of Marxism,the principle of establishing morality and building people,and the principle of critical absorption.The principle of taking me as the main principle and starting from the characteristics of primary and secondary school students.On the basis of adhering to the above principles,we should take the following measures to draw lessons from excellent western culture,that is,to select excellent western culture into teaching materials,and to organize ideological and political teachers and students in primary and secondary schools to exchange internships with students abroad.Influence primary and middle school students with excellent western culture in life,introduce western culture into the teaching content and improve students' ability to distinguish whether western culture is advanced or not.In a word,we need to be firm in cultural self-confidence,on the basis of following the relevant principles,bold reference to absorb the reasonable elements of western culture,to better promote the development of ideological and political education in China's primary and secondary schools.
