The seventh-grade Chinese textbooks complied by the Ministry of Education was published and began to be popularized in China in September 2016,while it wasn't until early 2019 that a complete set of Chinese textbooks of junior middle school were fully available.Therefore,the overall research on the aforementioned textbooks is still in its infancy at present,let alone the few investigations on its compilation characteristics and the application of its writing system.In the early stage of textbook revision,studies of the writing system of Chinese textbooks are of great significance to the compilation of teaching materials as well as its practical application.This thesis,thus,first analyzes the highlights and shortcomings of the writing system in terms of the arrangement of the writing system.It will further investigate the practical use of the writing system so as to find out the existing problems.Eventually,based on the on the revealed shortcomings in compiling systematic writing materials and the usage problems,several suggestions worthy of reference in this aspect are put forward in combination with the characteristics of the writing system.The writing system of junior Middle School Chinese textbook is established both in an explicit mode and in an implicit one.When the explicit writing topics form a relatively independent system themselves,the writing system is developed in an implicit way at the same time.That is to say,under the premise of maintaining its certain independence,writing runs through and is intertwined with other three parts,namely reading(including texts in each module and introduction to masterpieces),comprehensive learning and oral communication.This study probes into the highlights and deficiencies of the writing system from the perspectives of systematic writing knowledge,exercise content,and its arrangement mode.After the author conducted a questionnaire survey on the practical use of Chinese textbooks writing system in junior Middle school and made an analysis of its results,several major problems were revealed such as the writers' unfamiliarity with the writing system,the lack of guidance in the writing process,the neglect of thinking training and of combing reading with writing.On the basis of static analysis and dynamic analysis on the aforementioned textbook,this thesis puts forward some suggestions for itscompilation and for its practical usage.As to compiling,we should promote the integration of reading and writing,strengthen thinking training,and attach greater importance to the construction of communicative context.When it comes to its application,we can improve the evaluation ways of mutual evaluation and self-evaluation and supplement some appropriate writing examples.The present paper is aimed to improve the compiling standard of Chinese textbooks and the quality of writing teaching.
