In 2017,the "General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education clarified that "improving the overall quality of students and focusing on the development of core literacy" is the training goal of ordinary high school education.The curriculum reform based on core literacy drives the reform of the evaluation system,and the exploration of evaluation methods pointing to the cultivation of core literacy has become an important subject in the field of education reform.Considering that the cultivation of core literacy of geography is a consistent criterion in geography teaching in the future,the traditional form of examination with high scores cannot make a reasonable objective evaluation of literacy,and has a significant restraining effect on the cultivation of core literacy,it is imperative to design a reasonable evaluation system of core competence of geography discipline.Based on this understanding,this paper adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and case study methods to explore the theoretical basis and practical possibility of applying performance assessment to geographic practice literacy training.By sorting out and analyzing the research status at home and abroad,this paper reviews the domestic and international research on geography practice and performance evaluation,the theoretical foundation of the research is further strengthened.Through the questionnaire survey to understand the status quo of performance assessment and geography practice literacy training,it is found that teachers have a shallow understanding of performance assessment,teacher evaluation quality is not in line with student expectations,and pay insufficient attention to geographic practice literacy.On this basis,this paper matches the performance assessment with the goal of geo-practical mechanics,draws on the application research of performance assessment at home and abroad,develops the application of geographic practice based on performance assessment,supplemented by case study description.The case selected the historical and cultural block of Shangxiahang in Fuzhou city as the object of social investigation,verified the performance evaluation system proposed above in practical operation,and put forward Suggestions for improving the evaluation system theory.Finally,it puts forward the application strategy ofperformance evaluation to the cultivation of geographic practice,in order to provide an effective teaching reference for the performance evaluation research of geographic practice training.
