Under the advocacy of the International Charter for Geography Education,countries have carried out curriculum reforms to strengthen the cultivation of geographic practiee ability.Now the promulgation of the General Senior High Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)officially marks the transformation of the curriculum objectives from three-dimensional goal to key literacy.As one of the four core curriculum objectives,the importance of cultivating geographic practice ability in geography teaching is self-evident.But the cultivating of geographic practice ability is weak at present,the knowledge and ability are separated.And the traditional paper-and-pencil test is not enough to comprehensively assess the level of students'geographic practice ability.So it is urgent to combine curriculum standard,teaching and evaluation with a new assessment format,therefore,performance assessment emerges as the times require.Geographic experiment is an important practice method and teaching method of geography teaching.This paper will study the cultivation of geographic practice ability in geographic experiment teaching from the perspective of performance assessment.Through literature analysis,this paper sorts out the correlation between geographic practice ability and performance assessment,and deconstructs geographic practice ability by combining expert consultation and course standard interpretation.According to the formulation process of scoring rubrics of performance assessment,the observation scale of geographic practice ability cultivation was constructed as the research tool.Taking classroom observation and work analysis as the basic research methods,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the cultivation of geographic practice ability and put forward the corresponding optimization ideas in geographic experiment teaching.Having six parts:The first part is study outline.In this part,the research background is analyzed,the significance of the research is obtained.This paper summarizes the present research situation of "performance assessment" and "geographic practice ability" at home and abroad,summarizes the current research problems,determines the research contents and research ideas,and draws up the research route.The second part is framework.the definitions of geographic practice,performance assessment and geographic experiment are discussed,and the relationship between geographic practice ability and performance assessment is analyzed.Furthermore,the theoretical basis of this study is defined,and the geography curriculum teaching theory,the modern constructivist learning theory and the metacognition theory are regarded as the theoretical support for the cultivation path of geographic practice ability.The third part is construction of the scale.Through literature analysis and expert consultation,the culture elements of geographic practice ability are deconstructed.The evaluation criteria of geographic practice ability level are clarified,and the observation scale for the cultivation of geographic practice ability is constructed based on the formulation process of performance scoring rubrics.The fourth part is analysis of the current situation.Through classroom observation and analysis of works,the current situation of the cultivation of geographic practice ability in geographic experiment teaching is analyzed.Combining qualitative and quantitative analysis,it is concluded that there are six problems existing in the cultivation of geographic practice ability.The fifth part is optimization approach.According to the questions raised in the fourth chapter,the cultivation channels of geographical practice ability are divided according to the four stages of the geographic experiment teaching,and ten optimization approaches are put forward.The sixth part are conclusion and prospect.The basic conclusions of this paper are summarized,the deficiencies in the research are reconsidered,and the problems that need to be further studied are explained.
