| Applying what we have learned is highly respected in our daily learning and life.Geography is a comprehensive discipline with both arts and sciences,which should have been the same.However,for a long time,students lack the ability to apply theoretical knowledge of geography to life.Moreover,in high school geography teaching,the cultivation of practical ability in geography has not been emphasized.With the release of the 2017 edition of "Geography Curriculum Standards for General High Schools",guiding teachers to focus on improving students’ ability to comprehensively use geographical knowledge to solve practical problems.For example,teachers can use methods such as investigation,investigation,and experiment to train students’ level of geographical practice,ultimately enabling students to use the knowledge and geographical tools they have learned to explore,analyze,and make decisions in indoor,outdoor,and real social environments.How to cultivate students’ practical ability in geography has become a hot issue.In order to meet the requirements of the new curriculum standards,front-line teachers have used richer teaching methods and even changed the traditional teaching environment,such as using field geography courses for teaching.The geography field practice course integrates a real and complex geographical environment,rich and colorful teaching materials,and a variety of learning methods.It can achieve the practical application of geographical knowledge,the understanding and application of geographical tools,and enhance the perception of actual natural and cultural styles.It has significant effects in cultivating the geographical practice ability of high school students.Therefore,the geography field practice course has become an important means of cultivating students’ geographical practice ability.In teaching practice,the author found that students’ level of practical ability in geography is low,and they often cannot apply theoretical knowledge to real situations.In daily teaching,schools do not attach importance to the development of geographical practical activities.Teachers can do experiments to cultivate students’ practical ability in indoor teaching,but the methods of investigation and investigation are rarely applied,And without systematic field practice curriculum design,conducting geography courses in the field cannot achieve effective training in geographical practice.This study defines relevant concepts through literature research,questionnaire survey,case analysis,and other methods.It investigates the opening of geographical practical courses in southeast Chongqing and the level of geographical practical ability of students in Qianjiang Middle School,analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the development of geographical practical courses at the current stage,and combines the curriculum standards and the requirements of the college entrance examination for the cultivation of geographical practical ability,Combing the knowledge points in the textbook that are closely combined with field practice,combining with typical geographical resources around the Qianjiang River,and based on the cultivation of geographical practice,an application case of Zhuoshui Field Practice Course has been designed.Through the implementation of cases,this paper systematically discusses the problems and optimization strategies of field practice courses for high school students.The following conclusions were obtained:Firstly,based on the analysis of the weak level of geographical practice among students in Qianjiang Middle School in Chongqing and the poor implementation of geographical practice courses,the basic ideas and development processes for optimizing the design of geographical field practice courses were identified.Secondly,propose countermeasures and suggestions for building high-quality geographical field practice courses: accurately cultivate students’ geographical practical abilities,deepen teacher training and empowerment,do a good job in long-term curriculum planning,strengthen multi-party collaboration,seek expert guidance,and improve the evaluation system.This article clarifies that geography field practice is one of the important methods for cultivating geography practical ability through the perspective of geography field practice curriculum based on cultivating geography practical ability of high school students.In view of the problems existing in practice,corresponding solutions are proposed to provide practical reference for the cultivation of high school geography core literacy. |
