With the rapid development of the economy,the role of managers in the group has become increasingly prominent,and the demands of the society for managers have become higher and higher.As a result,there has been more and more research on managerial competence.However,most of the current researches focus on the construction of the managerial competency model and the improvement of competency,but there are few studies in the field of education.In the field of education,the research on the competence of training industry managers is even less.Due to the different competencies of different positions in different industries,in terms of the training industry,the middle-level manager of the training school is both a manager and an educator,and its competency has certain specialities.Therefore,it is still to be studied to build a training industry manager competency model and how to improve the competency of training school managers.Based on the literature review of competency,this paper constructs a five-ability model of middlelevel managers' competency in training schools by means of questionnaire survey and interview.Based on the five-ability model,this paper makes a thorough analysis and Discussion on the current situation,problems and ways to improve the competency of middle-level managers in Longfeng training schools.Firstly,this paper reviews and analyses the relevant literatures of competency at home and abroad,and establishes the theoretical basis for the thesis writing.Secondly,the five competency models of middlelevel managers in training schools are constructed.Through questionnaires,the managers of training schools in many provinces in China were surveyed.Through interviews,successful managers of some training schools were interviewed in depth.The results and data of the competency survey and interviews of managers in training industry were studied and analyzed.Combining the knowledge of economics and management and the experience of long-term management in training industry,this paper constructs a five-energy model which is in line with the training industry,namely,five dimensions: management skills,operation skills,teaching skills,service skills,quality and physical fitness.Thirdly,taking middle-level managers of Longfeng Training School as the research object,the competency analysis is carried out.Including the general situation of Longfeng Training School,personnel and job characteristics,competency evaluation and year-end examination analysis.Then,it analyses the problems of middlelevel managers in Longfeng Training School in terms of five competencies,and finds out the reasons from three aspects: Longfeng Training School,managers and the industry environment.Finally,according to the above content,the paper puts forward the improvement plan and guarantee measures for the competency of middle-level managers in training schools.Promotion plan includes training and specific promotion strategies of five competency.Guarantee measures include policy guarantee,organizational guarantee,system guarantee and incentive mechanism guarantee.On the one hand,this study aims at the competency five-ability model constructed by middle-level managers of training schools through empirical research,which helps to enrich the relevant research results of competency.On the other hand,the research results of this paper can not only effectively improve the competence of Longfeng Training School managers,promote the healthy development of Longfeng Training School,but also provide guidance for other training schools in the training industry to enhance the competency of middle-level managers and the recruitment,selection,promotion and assessment of middle-level managers.
