With the rapid development of tourism as a happy industry,a large number of high-quality inter-disciplinary tourism talents are urgently needed in the tourism market. As an important part of teaching, the level of students' learning engagement directly affects the quality of tourism talents. Therefore, this study aims to explore the current situation and influencing factors of tourism management undergraduates' learning engagement.First of all, based on the research background and research significance, this study divides the dimensions of learning engagement into behavioral engagement, emotional engagement and cognitive engagement through the collation of relevant literature on learning engagement and its influencing factors.Secondly, based on the student development theory and the student participation theory, the scale of learning engagement and the interview data of tourism management undergraduates, two influencing factors learning engagement are extracted, individual internal factors and external environmental factors, among which individual internal factors include learning attitude, professional identity and learning interest, and external environmental factors include learning environment, teacher support and social environment. Finally, questionnaires of tourism management undergraduates' learning engagement were distributed to tourism universities in Liaoning Province, and the collected data were analyzed. The main results are as follows:(1)Tourism management undergraduates' learning engagement is generally at the middle level. In the three-dimensional comparison of learning engagement, the score of emotional engagement is the highest, followed by behavioral engagement and emotional engagement.Among the tourism management undergraduates' individual internal factors, the score of professional identity is lower than that of learning attitude and interest.Among the tourism management undergraduates' external environmental factors, the score of learning environment is lower than that of social environment and teacher support.(2)Through the analysis of the differences in learning engagement of students with different personal background factors, there is no significant difference among different gender and different family location.Freshmen and sophomores of tourism management are higher than juniors and seniors in overall learning engagement, behavioral engagement, emotional engagement andcognitive engagement. The degree of learning engagement decreases with the increase of grade.(3)Through regression analysis of the relationship between six factors and learning engagement's three dimensions,Social environment, professional identity, learning interest, teacher support and learning environment have an important impact on learning engagement;social environment, professional identity, learning interest and learning environment have a significant impact on behavior engagement;professional identity and teacher support have an important impact on emotional engagement;learning attitude, professional identity, social environment and learning environment have a significant impact on cognitive engagement.Based on the above conclusions, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the learning engagement of stimulating students' interest in professional study, improving the curriculum system, enhancing their professional status, and strengthening employment guidance and management.
