With the continuous development of the economy and society,the number of rural left-behind teenager groups is increasing,and it will continue to increase in the future.Existing researches on rural left-behind adolescent groups mostly use problem perspective as the starting point,for example,research on the crimes of left-behind teenager in rural areas tops the list.Rural left-behind teenager as a reserve force to promote national development,its growth and development require extensive attention from society,only their stable development and healthy growth,have a bright future,society can be more harmonious.Therefore,it is necessary to look at the growth of rural left-behind teenager from a development perspective.When the author made contact with rural left-behind teenagers during the internship,find out that they face many difficulties in their current studies and future careers,due to long-term left-behind and lack of material conditions,they have little knowledge of themselves,their studies and professions,and are unconscious of future career development.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the career education of left-behind teenagers in rural areas.Based on the above background,this study uses the professional approach of group work to study the career education of rural left-behind teenagers.Under the guidance of the dominance perspective and the theory of social support network,the function of social work prevention and development is used as the value guide,conduct eight group activities,in order to improve the self-awareness,academic and vocational awareness,and career planning awareness of rural left-behind teenager,in order to promote their choices in future academic and professional development,have a better future.Through the preparation of the group and the implementation of the activities,and the subsequent group evaluation and reflection,the author concludes that the group work is feasible and effective in intervening in the career education of rural left-behind teenager,this also provides a new attempt for the development of career education for left-behind teenager in rural areas.
