Recently,the research on male kindergarten teachers has gradually turned from their survival status to their professional development.Specifically,the research is more in-depth and more focused on effectively solving the professional development problems of male kindergarten teachers.So,this research selected a male kindergarten teacher R as the object of case study,and used qualitative research methods to study the key events of his professional development.R graduated from preschool education major and has worked in kindergarten so far.R's professional development is stable and prominent.It is hoped that the value and significance of teacher R's professional development can be interpreted and explained through the confirmation and reflection of the key events in R's professional development.This research mainly uses qualitative research methods,such as interviews and work analysis,to conduct a case study on Teacher R.Teacher R's professional development is put into his personal life history,and key events affecting his professional development are found from the whole process of professional development,and further interpretations and meaningful explanations are made to reveal his professional development.All these key events reveal that as a male science student,facing the situation that male kindergarten teachers are generally misunderstood by the society and are lack of self-identity of being kindergarten teachers' profession,how did he grow from the "collapse" of "mistaken entry" into pre-school to a kindergarten teacher who guides his professional growth with "professionality" and "professional consciousness”.In general,this research concludes that:The professional development of male kindergarten teachers is a continuous dynamic process.The professional development of male kindergarten teachers is "difficult" because of "male",The realistic breakthrough of the professional development of male kindergarten teachers includes: subjectivity is the determinant factor and professionality is the key factor of professional development of male kindergarten teachers.Studying themselves is necessary for the professional development of male kindergarten teachers.Key events can effectively promote the professional development of male kindergarten teachers.Based on these conclusions,some suggestions for the professional development of kindergarten male teachers are given:Firstly,from the theoretical level,it is necessary to analyze scientifically the influence factors and understand inner mechanism of professional development of male kindergarten teachers.Secondly,from the practical operation level,it is necessary to continuously improve external environment for the professional development of male kindergarten teachers and cultivate healthy personality of male kindergarten teachers.Using key events to promote the professional development,and treat professionality as significant support for male kindergarten teachers' development.
