The purpose of this study is to explore the fitness effects of different exercise loads on college students,so as to provide a practical, effective, scientific and safe body-building weight-loss program that can be completed in school for overweight and obese college students, and to cultivate the exercise habits of overweight and obese college students,so that they can gain a healthy physique. In this study,by means of comparative experiment, literature method and mathematical statistics method, overweight and obese college students were divided into two groups to conduct 12 weeks of aerobic running training and resistance strength training, supplemented by scientific nutrition intake control during the experiment.26 overweight or obese college students were selected as experimental subjects and divided into two experimental groups on average(n=13)for the experiment. The first group was trained mainly by running.Students wore A POLA table to monitor their heart rate and ensure that the heart rate during training was kept between 60% and 90% of their maximum heart rate. The second group used bench press, half squat, back bridge and abdominal bridge for strength training. Each movement was practiced in 3-4 groups. The weight of bench press and half squat was within the range of 60%-70%1RM.Before and after the experiment, the students were tested for body composition and step experiment. After analyzing and comparing the changes of relevant indicators, the following research results and conclusions are drawn:Results:(1)The weight,BMI and fat quality of the students were improved after the training of the two load types, and the changes were significantly different(P < 0.05).(2)In terms of body weight, body fat percentage,BMI and fat mass, there were significant differences between the two groups after the experiment(P<0.05),and the improvement of all indicators was more significant in the aerobic running training group.(3)Students in aerobic running training group showed significant improvement in body weight, percentage of fat,BMI,fat mass, step index and basal metabolism, and the changes were significantly different(P < 0.01).(4)In the resistance strength training group, there was asignificant decrease in weight loss(P < 0.01).In terms of fat percentage and muscle mass, students in the resistance strength training group also improved, but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).(5)after the training of the two load types, the students' muscle mass,fat-free weight and basal metabolic rate were improved, but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion:(1)12 weeks of moderate intensity aerobic training or moderate intensity resistance strength training can help to improve the health level of overweight and obese college students. The two types of weight training have a positive effect on the fitness effect of overweight and obese college students.(2)Under the same intensity level, aerobic running training has more significant fitness training effect.Aerobic running training has better improvement effect on body weight, percentage of fat,BMI,step index and other indexes for overweight and obese students than resistance strength training.(3)In aerobic training, the heart rate of students should be maintained between120 times /min to 170 times /min.(4)Whether the fitness effect after exercise is good or bad depends on whether the students can master the targeted training plan independently and actively adhere to the training.
