It has become a consensus that physical exercise promotes the physical and mental health of overweight and obese college students,and the persistence of physical exercise is a basic premise.Therefore,the persistence of physical exercise of overweight and obese college students needs to be studied and solved.This study takes the basic psychological needs as the starting point to explore the mechanism of autonomy support on the physical exercise persistence of overweight and obese college students.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,this study reveals the basic characteristics of physical exercise persistence,independent support and basic psychological needs of overweight and obese college students,and analyzes the relationship mechanism between the three,and draws the following conclusions:(1)The basic characteristics of physical exercise autonomy support of overweight and Obese College Students: among the three dimensions of physical exercise autonomy support of overweight and obese college students,the degree of parents' autonomy support is the highest,followed by the peer's autonomy support,and finally by the physical education teachers' autonomy support;(2)there are significant differences between overweight and Obese College Students in physical exercise autonomy support of different genders,in different grades There are significant differences in different degrees of obesity;(3)the basic characteristics of physical exercise persistence of overweight and Obese College Students: the highest level of emotional experience,followed by hard work,and finally behavior habits;(4)there are differences in physical exercise persistence between overweight and Obese College Students in different genders,in different grades,and in different fatness There are significant differences in the degree of obesity;(5)the basic characteristics of basic psychological needs: the highest level of independent needs,followed by relationship needs,and finally ability needs;(6)there is no difference in basic psychological needs between different genders,different grades,and different degrees of obesity;(7)the influence path of autonomous support on the physical exercise persistence of overweight and Obese College Students: the autonomous support of PE teachers and peers has a positive prediction on the physical exercise persistence,and the autonomous support of peers has a positive prediction on the basic psychological needs Strength needs and relationship needs have a positive predictive effect on physical exercise persistence;(8)intermediary role of basic psychological needs: basic psychological needs It plays a completely intermediary role in the influence of autonomous support on the physical exercise persistence of overweight and obese college students.
