In recent years,although the physical health of teenagers in China as a whole has improved,but the number of overweight and obese adolescents remains stubbornly high,high school as a youth physical development and grasp the key period of knowledge,to improve the health level of the all-round development of individuals and realize the healthy China strategy and the socialist modernization is of great importance.This study investigated whether 12-week aerobic exercise combined with strength training can improve the health and physical fitness of overweight and obese high school students and analyzed the reasons for the changes,so as to provide theoretical and practical basis for overweight and obese high school students to reduce the degree of obesity and improve their physical fitness.This study using the literature material method,experimental method and mathematical statistics research methods,such as selection of 48 overweight obesity high school students as subjects,overweight obesity high school students were randomly divided into experimental group and the control group,each group of 12 people,both men and women in experimental high school students to 12 weeks of aerobic exercise combined with strength training,training 4 times a week.Including 2 times of aerobic training and 2 times of strength training,the control group of high school students for 12 weeks of free activities,the data measured before and after the experiment were statistically analyzed,providing strong data for the writing of the paper.Results:(1)In terms of body composition,there was no significant difference in height between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment(P > 0.05),but there were significant differences in body weight,BMI and body fat % between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01).(2)In terms of cardiovascular fitness indicators,there were significant differences between experimental group and control group in vital capacity and difference between 800m(female)and 1000m(male)after the experiment(P<0.01).(3)Muscle fitness indicators: after the experiment,the difference of standing long jump,grip strength and sit-up between the experimental group and the control group was very significant(P<0.01).(4)Flexibility and fitness indicators: after the experiment,there was a significant difference in the flexion difference of the sitting body between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Body composition fitness: aerobic exercise combined with strength training can reduce the obesity degree of overweight and obese high school students,achieve the effect of weight and fat loss,and then improve their body composition fitness level.(2)Cardiovascular fitness: aerobic exercise combined with strength training can improve the cardiopulmonary function of overweight and obese high school students,and then improve their cardiovascular fitness level.(3)Muscle fitness: aerobic exercise combined with strength training can improve the muscle strength and muscle endurance of overweight and obese high school students,and then improve their muscle fitness level.(4)Flexibility: aerobic exercise combined with strength training can enhance the physical flexibility of overweight and obese high school students,and then improve their flexibility.
