Since the new century,the secondary vocational education has growing rapidly.Meanwhile,the society has higher requirement on quality for vocational education,which thus demands higher ability of teaching of the vocational teachers.Building “double-qualified teachers” staffs has been a critical method to improve the teachers' teaching ability as the building goes deeper.As the tourism has become the important component of our country's social economy,it has been the strategic pillar industry of our economy.The tourism department in the secondary vocational school provides a bunch of front line service talents,and the students' professional proficiency is closely related to the teachers' professional capability.When our country pushes the building “double-qualified teachers” staffs and the tourism industry is developing in a quick pace,it is inevitable for the teachers in tourism departments to transform their profession.Without well qualified teachers,the overall teaching quality in the tourism departments of vocational school is hard to improve.The study sorts through the relevant documents about the transformation of teachers and “double-qualified” teachers,summing up the existing research.Through analyzing,I reckon that the existing research casts reference to this study,but the research focuses on micro level with respectively little study of the professional transformation of teachers in tourism departments.Aiming at the issue,based on the the practical condition,I gatherer the material and analyze the fundamental situation of the tourism departments in vocational schools.By ways of questionnaire and interview,targeting the teachers of tourism departments of the vocational schools in four cities of Yunnan province,I do the research and study of many issues such as the basic situation of the professional teachers' staffs,the proficiency of relevant profession,opinions about “double-qualified ”teachers,the understanding of our country's policies,the knowledge of the teachers' professional transformation,the teachers' professional development and their psychological change,respectively.Through studying,I find the remaining problem of professional transformation of teachers in tourism departments of vocational schools against the backdrop ofcultivating “double-qualified”teachers,with analysis on the problems and causes of professional transformation of teachers in tourism departments of vocational schools nowadays based on five aspects such as our country's policies,the tourism industry,The educational administrative agency,the secondary vocational schools and the teachers themselves.Base on the comprehensive analysis,the article explores the transformation mechanism for the teachers in tourism departments of vocational schools from nine aspects including policy support,financial support,optimizing professional structure,optimizing teachers evaluation system,building platform for the professional transformation of teachers,building good cultural atmosphere in campus,innovate the traditional ideas,building stimulative mechanism for teacher's transformation and cultivating learning awareness,to set up a scientific and thorough system so as to help the smoothly professional transformation of teachers in tourism departments of vocational schools.
