| This papers features a case study of the North Campus of Xiaguan No.4 Middle School in Dali,Yunnan,the school where the author works.The newly emerged teaching mode “Cloud Class” evolves as information technology develops.The paper refers to government policies that aim to advance the modernization with informationization,and to promote the reform and innovation of the education system.It sheds light upon the dilemmas and challenges faced by “Cloud Class” when managing its application to junior high school teaching.Dedicated to study strategies for managing the application of “Cloud Class” in junior high school teaching,the paper explores effective management methods and relevant tactics.and answers to the evolving trend of “Cloud Class” from the perspective of real practice.Adopting classroom observation and literature research as its main tools and supplemented with questionnaires and interviews,the paper systematically analyzes previous studies on “Cloud Class”,as well as the management and management strategies for junior high school teaching.It looks into common challenges in the present-day management of “Cloud Class”.By discussing the experience and challenges of “Cloud Class” management related to the case study of the North Campus of Xiaguan No.4 Middle School,the paper explores the management strategies of “Cloud Class” for junior high schools in an all-round way.The paper is based upon the humanistic learning theory,the constructivism learning theory,the quality management theory,and the instructional technological theory.It reveals teaching management strategies deployed in junior high schools,explores effective management strategies,and discusses the management of the dual subjects in the “Cloud Class”(teachers and students),teaching resources,the process of teaching and learning as well as the relevant platforms.It delves into the subjects,resources,processes,platforms,and evaluations involved in the management of “Cloud Class”,by focusing on protruding issues that have surfaced in the application of the “Cloud Class”.Via carrying out case studies since the launch of the “Cloud Class” in March,2017,this paper sums up the existing issues in teaching management while looking into their root causes.Exploring the feasibility of applying “Cloud Class” in junior high schools,the paper lays emphasis upon the urgency and necessity of strengthening management over the subjects,resources,processes,platforms,and evaluations in the “Cloud Class”,while providing ideas and approaches to upgrade teaching management.The primary conclusions are as follows: First,the “Cloud Class” echoes with the trend of the times,and accords with the law of physical and mental growth among junior high school students.It therefore contributes to the improvement of learning efficiency and teaching quality.Second,the management of “Cloud Class” in teaching at junior high schools is influenced by multiple factors,including the teaching subjects,resources,platforms,process design,and evaluations.Third,mapping out the strategies for management of teaching in “Cloud Class” is conducive to school management and development of students. |
