The movement of "higher normal school transformation" refers to a movement in China in the 1920 s and 1930 s aimed at transforming normal universities into normal or comprehensive universities through reorganization,merger,or upgrading.This is a movement deeply affected by the ideological reform of foreign teachers' education.It is also an important turning point in China's normal education model from closed to open,breaking the monopoly position of teachers' schools in teacher training,and beginning to realize the participation of teachers' schools and comprehensive universities in teacher training.Open model.This research focuses on the transformation of higher normal schools,which emerged and gradually developed in the 1920 s and 1930 s.The restructuring of higher normal schools into comprehensive universities,mergers or upgrades to normal universities,as the entry point,takes time as the starting point.The clues combed the rise,development,and end of the "higher normal school transformation" movement,and examined the reform process of six national normal colleges and universities,presenting the basic situation of the "higher normal school transformation" movement,and summarized "On the basis of the basic characteristics of the "higher normal school transformation"movement,the historical impact of the "higher normal school transformation"movement in the Republic of China is described.The historical impact of the "higher normal school transformation" movement on the development of higher normal education in the Republic of China,The historical impact of the movement on the higher education of the Republic of China is discussed in two aspects.This research is mainly carried out in three parts.The first part introduces the background of the "higher normal school transformation" movement.Through the analysis of the normal education system in China and the history of domestic and foreign teachers education reform,it summarizes the background,policy background,and educational background of the movement.The second part focuses on the rise and development of the "higher normal school transformation" movement,including the rise,development,and conclusion of the movement.The rise part is the process of thought gestation and system implementation of the movement;it starts with the discussion of the six national normal colleges independently set up throughout the country during the Republic of China as an example;at the end,it introduces the regression and results of the "higher normal school transformation" movement.The third part discusses the historical impact of the "higher normal school transformation" movement.As an educational reform movement,the occurrence of the "higher normal school transformation" movement has had varying degrees of impact on higher normal education and higher education in the Republic of China.
