Some management ability is the basic requirement of quality education for primary school students, and is also a necessary prerequisite for entering secondary school. It is conducive to the cultivation of complete personality, the full manifestation of personality and the all-round development for primary school students.Due to the unique geographical location of the urban-rural junction, primary schools in the area gather elementary students from local rural families, migrant families, urban families(including the "agricultural-non-agricultural" population),and some left-behind children whose parents go out to work.Due to the complexity of the school's students in the region, and the complexity of the social and human environment, primary school students in this context can deal with learning problems, individuals, and others only if they have good self-management skills, which can lay a good foundation for their lives. In this paper, students from 3 primary schools in the rural-urban fringe area were randomly selected in Weihai City for investigation, and the self-management ability of the fourth and fifth grades in the urban-rural fringe area was taken as the research goal.In order to ensure the integrity of the research, relevant teacher interviews, parental surveys, observations of students' classroom attention, and interviews after the questionnaires of primary school students' self-management ability in the urban-rural junction were incorporated. The literature method, questionnaire method, interview method and observation method are combined to find out the problems of self-management ability of primary school students in the rural-urban fringe, and to analyze the causes of the investigated problems based on the theoretical basis, and to propose specific feasible countermeasures. The research in this paper is mainly composed of the following three parts:Part Ⅰ: Chapters 1 and 2 of the article. The first chapter of the introductionincludes the reason for choosing the topic, the significance of the research, the definition of the core concepts and the theoretical basis. The second chapter summarizes the related research at home and abroad, including the status quo of foreign students' self-management ability abroad, the current status of domestic research on self-management ability of children.Part Ⅱ : Chapter 3 is the main part of this article. The third chapter analyzes the status quo of self-management ability of elementary school students in urban and rural areas.First,it conducts research and design, interviews relevant teachers, issues questionnaires to parents, and observes classroom performance of elementary students in the field.Four dimensions of self-education and questionnaires were issued to students and in-depth interviews were conducted after the questionnaires. They went deeper and deeper and comprehensively understood the status of self-management capabilities of primary school students in urban and rural areas.Based on the theoretical basis, the relevant cause analysis was done, and the problems currently encountered by primary school students in the area were derived. The lack of self-management ability in the four dimensions was analyzed in detail and the corresponding attributions were made.Part Ⅲ: The fourth chapter of the article is based on the research of the first three chapters, and proposes specific and feasible countermeasures from the perspective of school managers and teachers.Strengthen the quality of primary school teachers in urban and rural areas;Educational concepts, including the establishment of parent classrooms in schools, more communication between teachers and parents, and the school actively strengthening home-school cooperation;strengthening school and teacher guidance, and improving the self-management capabilities of primary school students in urban-rural areas, including guiding students to improve their self-selection capabilities and guiding students to improve their self-planning capabilities, guiding students to improve their self-regulation ability, and guiding students to improve their self-education ability, and creat a better educational environment for them.
