| The heavy learning burden of primary and secondary school students in China is a long-term problem facing the school education system.Although the national education authorities have issued many documents on "burden reduction",the results are very little.Homework,as one of the important causes of students ‘overburdens,has attracted much attention and caused controversy.However,first of all,it should be clear that homework is very important for pupils to learn,which is mainly reflected in: homework is an important learning process to help students understand,consolidate and use the knowledge learned in the classroom,and to achieve the goal of cultivating correct values,having emotional experience,good habits and optimistic attitude.Secondly,it is also one of the important means to test the teaching effect of teachers in time so as to adjust the teaching methods immediately.Therefore,no matter from the teaching of teachers or from the importance of students' learning,homework is indispensable at the stage of students' learning.However,excessive and inefficient homework takes up a lot of rest time of pupils,which seriously damages their physical health and spiritual growth,makes them grow weary of learning and form bad habits,and leads to the reduction of students' learning efficiency,learning interest and motivation against the development of innovation ability and independent thinking ability.At the same time,School teaching quality becomes low.This paper focuses on three primary schools in the urban-rural fringe of the city of Hohhot.It elaborates on the current situation of homework completion of senior students and teachers of primary school in the background of special geographical location and educational culture,and it finds that homework managementproblems are prominent.Students' attitude towards homework is not positive and they have not got into good habits of doing homework,especially the number of students who are not willing to finish homework increases when they advance to the next grade.The management level of homework in school is low.It shows that the evaluation of homework in school is just a formality and the teachers have insufficient understanding of homework function,so the efficiency of designing and evaluating homework is low,and the feedback become lagged and their ability of homework management is low.The lack of cooperation and communication between teachers on homework leads to a large amount of homework.The reason is that,being lacking in favorable social environment and family education support,the schools have not established a management system to change the current state of students' homework.They are not aware of the function of homework,so they do not support or supervise the teachers' work on homework,which results in the low efficiency of the school work.This paper is divided into the following six parts: The first part is the problem-raising part,which mainly elaborates the background,significance,domestic and foreign research situation of the senior students' homework research in primary school,as well as the ideas and methods of this study.The second part is the conceptual and theoretical basis.This part defines the core concepts of management,student homework and other papers,and elaborates on the related theory of homework management.The third part is the current situation of seniorstudents‘homework in primary school of urban-rural fringe.This part mainly uses the methods of observation,questionnaire and interview to learn about the completion of homework for senior students and the management of homework for teachers in primary school.Therefore,according to the current situation,it analyzes the problems of homework management in urban-rural fringe of Hohhot.The fourth part is the analysis part,which analyses the causes of the problems in homework management in the urban-rural fringe of Hohhot from the external factors,including environmental factors,school factors,family education factors and internal factors.The fifth part is the measure part,which combines the relevant psychology,management and educational theory,and summarizes the effective principles of improving homework management,and then based on that,this article puts forward suggestions for improvement onhomework management.That is to establish a good operation management atmosphere and practical operation management system in the school;to improve the teacher abilities of homework management;to win the support of parents on the homework management;to pay attention to the cultivation of students' personal management ability.The last part is the epilogue part.It mainly puts forward the difficulties encountered in the study,and the problems that have not been solved at present,and the next research direction. |
