This study takes a middle school in Changsha as it's research object,and focuses on the theme of promoting the curricularization of club activities in middle schools.It summarizes the connotation and significance of the curricularization of club activities,as well as the types of club activity courses and their characteristics.Most of all,it points out the existing problems and reasons so as to discuss better strategies of promoting the curricularization of club activities.In addition,the study can also provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for strengthening the management of clubs and effectively carrying out quality education.The connotation of the curricularization of club activities is to make the club activities become the curriculum and the middle school students become the main part of the activities.Under the guidance of teachers and with the support of credits,the club activities are systematically planned,effectively organized and scientifically evaluated,and meanwhile the diverse forms of club activities are integrated into the school curriculum system.The significance of the curricularization of club activities is to enrich the school-based curriculum and develop the characteristics of the school,to help to give full play to the potential of students and promote the growth of them,as well as to strengthen the management of clubs and enhance the vitality of clubs.The types of club activity courses include the courses of humanities and social sciences,scientific and technological innovation,art and sports,public welfare services as well as characteristic culture.What's more,their characteristics lie in the following five aspects: being educational,diverse,adaptable,flexible and open.In fact,there are some problems in the process of curricularization of club activities,such as lack of attention,inadequacy of development and insufficiency of implementation.And the main reasons result from the following aspects: schools,teachers,students,parents and the society.In order to solve these problems,we must attach importance to the curricularization of club activities,strengthen the development of it,and improve the implementation of it.
