Since the 18th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has stressed repeatedly that education is the foundation of the country and undertakes the fundamental task of building up morality,building people.As the key to the development of school education,moral education work is the important part of education and teaching.As the main channel of school moral education work,the ideological and political course in high school is also the key course to fulfill the fundamental task of building up morality,building people.Various regions,departments,and schools of all levels earnestly implement the important spirit speech which is based on "building up morality,building people" and continuously promote the reform of ideological and political courses.Significant results have been achieved in the construction of ideological and political courses.However,in the face of new challenges in the new era,the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political courses needs to be strengthened.The senior high school is also the important period for the development of students' moral quality.The ideological and political course in senior high school plays an extremely important role in the cultivation of students' moral education.However,due to the ingrained nature of exam-oriented education,as well as the complexity of social culture and other factors,the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political course in senior high school is not satisfactory.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political courses in high schools in the new era.Throughout the research results on the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political courses in senior middle schools,scholars have conducted research on the effectiveness of moral education in high school ideological and political courses from different perspectives,But not much research has been done on the effectiveness of moral education in high school ideological and political courses.Moreover,the research is mainly theoretical,but less practical.This article takes the new era as the background and is based on questionnaires and teacher interviews.Through the analysis of the current situation of the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political courses in five high schools of B city,the current situation is mainly from the current situation of ideological and political lessons in high school,the current status of the actual effects of ideological and political moral education in high schools,and the impact of external environment on the ideological and political courses.From the aspect analysis,it is concluded that there are the following problems in the effectiveness of moral education in high school ideological and political courses:The first is that teachers' moral education is not ideal;the second is that students' moral internalization is inadequate,and their knowledge and behavior are different;the third is that students' political cognition is shallow and their political abilities need to be improved;the fourth is that students' value judgments are biased,and the cultivation of the three outlooks needs to be strengthened.It clarifies the current situation of low effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political courses in senior high schools.Then analyze the reasons that affect the effectiveness of moral education in high school ideological and political lessons:The internal reason is that teachers pay more attention to intellectual education while they neglect moral education.And it also because of the single teaching method and the lack of subjectivity of students.The external reasons are the insufficient management in school and the complexity of external moral education environment.On the basis of the reasons,corresponding countermeasures are proposed to strengthen the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political courses in high schools.It mainly includes improving teachers' teaching ability,giving full play to students' initiative,strengthening school moral education management,optimizing external social environment,and deepening the reform of moral education curriculum,etc.,so as to provide the majority of high school ideological and political teachers with some methods of practically strengthening the effectiveness of moral education of senior high school ideological and political courses.
