This study takes junior high school mathematics teachers as the research object,based on theories of psychology,human resource management,organizational behavior,and research methods like job analysis,BEI,open questionnaire.Competent model of junior high school mathematics teachers and verify it to complete related research.In the specific research,based on the literature analysis,the job description of junior high school mathematics teachers was made through job analysis to understand job requirements;20 behavioral interviews were conducted through behavioral event interviews with 93 open questionnaire survey.Initially build a junior high school mathematics teacher competency model and compile " Self-assessment Questionnaire for Junior High School Teacher Competency Characteristics(forecast)";collect 139 prediction questionnaires,conduct project analysis and exploratory factor analysis,then form " Self-assessment Questionnaire for Junior High School Teacher Competency Characteristics(official)";190 formal questionnaires were tested and recollected,and exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to verify the competency model and test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.The findings are as follows:(1)The research has constructed a competency model for junior high school mathematics teachers with 11 competence characteristics,classifies the competence characteristics into teaching organization management ability,care and service,personal achievement motivation,personality charm,professional accomplishment through statistical methods.Teaching skills is total of 6 dimensions,confirming that the competency model is multi-dimensional;(2)According to the model constructed by the research institute,a "Secondary School Mathematics Teacher Competency Self-assessment Questionnaire" containing 29 items and 5basic information questions was finally formed.It was verified by statistical methods that the overall structure of the questionnaire was good.Validity meets requirements;(3)The competency characteristics of junior high school mathematics teachers have certain differences in gender,teaching age,and academic qualifications.
