Research On The Developmental Dilemma Of The Hub-type Social Work Organization

In recent years,with the transformation of governmental functions in China,the traditional provisional mode of social services by the government has been unable to meet the demands of current social development;but new provisional ideas.The emergence of hub-type social work organizations provide new channels for helping the government deal with social affairs.At the same time,hub-type social work organizations have begun to spread all over the country.Based on the current social environment in China,combing with the work experience of JQ social work service center in Jilin Province,this paper mainly exploresthe following points: developmental process,developmentalsituation,dilemas,causes and developmental strategies of social work organizations.The research methods of this paper are mainly literature review,interview and observation.The paper starts with the background of JQ social work service center in Jilin Province.From the perspective of organizational living cycle,it explores phased characteristics of social work organizations.On that basis,the paper states the developmental situation of JQ social work service center in Jilin Province,such as serving objectives,content,operating projects,management systems and other aspects.Secondly,the main developmental dilemas are foundthrough the comprehensive analysis of the internal and external environment of the organizations,including the localization of technology,talents flow,social work services,cooperation between social work organizations,the dependent relationship between the government and social work organizations,and the identity of serving objectives.Thirdly,it analyzes the causes above from three aspects: government,social work organizations and social cognition;and constantly clarifies the relationship between the difficulties and the causes based on the resource-dependence theory.Finally,the paper puts forward the corresponding measures and suggestions for the sustainable development of organizationsfrom the governmental level,social level and sevice center level.The purpose of this study is to promote the sound development of congeneric social work organizations in Jilin Province and even the whole country.
