The Case Study Of University Establishing Research Institutes In Different Places

The research institutes in different places of universities is a platform for cooperation and exchange between universities and local governments.It is an important part of exporting high-quality talents and promoting cooperation between government,industry,university and research institutes,and serving the transformation and upgrading of local industrial structure.With the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy,the important role of high-quality university think tank resources in promoting local economic development is increasingly apparent.In order to meet the needs of their own development,the local government has issued a series of policies to “build nests and attract phoenixes”.More and more first-class colleges and universities have gone out and started to set up research institutes in geospatial spaces outside the school headquarters(abbreviated as "research Institutes in different places").This paper takes the research institutes in different places established by first-class universities as the main research object,to understand the current situation of the construction of research institutes in different places,to find out the existing problems and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.This research adheres to the combination of theory and practice,and comprehensively uses literature research,historical research,case study,interview research and questionnaire research methods to carry out research work.On the basis of collating the existing research literature,this paper investigates the historical evolution,connotation development,management mechanism and construction value of the research institutes in different places.Through case study method and interview research method,the overall distribution,development orientation and cooperation of government,industry,university and research institutes in colleges and universities in Suzhou are introduced.The questionnaire survey method is used to investigate the situation of talent cultivation in different places.This paper summarizes the experience gained by the current research institutes in the process of talent cultivation and cooperation between government,industry,university and research institutes,analyses the problems existing in the development process and makes attribution analysis.Based on the research results of theoretical research and practical investigation,the conclusions of this paper are formed:(1)first-class universities and local governments to set up research institutes in different places is an innovative practice to promote the effective functioning of colleges and universities;(2)the development of research institutes in different places is in the same direction as that of local areas through the development of talent cultivation,scientific research and cooperation between government,industry,university and research;(3)The research institutes of different places are still subject to different factors in the construction process.Based on these,an improvement strategy is proposed for the problems that arise in the development of colleges and universities in different places.
