In recent years,parents pay more and more attention to children's education,the shadow education market continues to grow,which makes shadow education become a hot topic of experts and scholars.From the perspective of class differences,this paper will explore the current situation and differences of different classes of families in shadow education selection and participation,and explore the potential problems,which is of great practical significance to promote education equity and better regulate the shadow education market.This study selected four junior high schools in C city to conduct a questionnaire survey,and with in-depth case interviews,to analyze the current situation and characteristics of junior high school students of different classes participating in shadow education,and to explore the differences of students of different classes participating in shadow education,mainly including content,motivation,intensity and other aspects.At the same time,the analysis results of independent sample t-test were used to explore the influence of family factors such as parents' income,parents' highest education level on supplementary education expenditure.Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of junior high school students' participation in shadow education,we can see that: first,the demand for shadow education widely exists in all levels;second,the content,form and motivation of shadow education participation show obvious class preference;third,family economic conditions,parents' Education level and other family capital affect the amount of investment in shadow education.In addition,this study finds four problems from the differences of students' participation in shadow education: first,shadow education has the function of social reproduction,which affects education equity;second,the basic class bears greater pressure on the investment in shadow education;third,the education anxiety of the middle class is obvious;fourth,the participation effect of shadow education of the middle class and the basic class Poor satisfaction.In view of the above situation and problems,this study will put forward the following countermeasures from the perspective of avoiding shadow education to further widen the stratification: first,the government should improve the governance and supervision of the tutoring institutions,and do a good job in the top-level design;second,promote the School-to-School balance in the junior middle school stage,and improve the quality of basic education;third,guide families at all levels to change their educational concepts and form a reasonable education Fourth,we should promote compulsory tutoring services and provide more opportunities for shadow education.
