Grounded Research On The Connotation Of "Endogenous Motivation For Poverty Alleviation" And Its Motivating Factors

Poverty alleviation has entered a critical period with increasing difficulties and deepening problems such as the return to poverty and the deepening of poverty.At the same time as material poverty alleviation,more attention should be paid to spiritual poverty alleviation,stimulating the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation"of the poor,and achieving long-term poverty alleviation.Guiding the poor people to establish subject consciousness and developing the spirit of self-reliance,and changing "requiring me out of poverty" to "I want to get out of poverty".Therefore,effectively stimulating the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation" of poor people is an important part of poverty alleviation.If we want to stimulate the"endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation",we must have a clear understanding of what is the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation" and its motivating factors.This research interviewed 20 interviewees in M township,Jinggangshan City(including 14 poor households,4 poverty alleviation cadres,and 2 non-poor households),and uses the Nvivo12 software and grounded theory research method to encode the 20 interview data collected one by one,and then excavates the core connotation of "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation"(labor ability,positive values,excellent spiritual quality and self-efficacy).Based on the connotation of"endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation",these 20 interviewees conducted further interviews to explore the motivating factors stimulating the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation",and finally formed the internal factors(marital status,spiritual quality,values,labor ability,ability level)and external factors(family environment,social environment,emergencies,policy assistance)that affect the"endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation".The positive aspects of internal and external factors are the internal and external driving forces that stimulate "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation" of the poor people and realize sustainable poverty alleviation.On the contrary,the negative aspects of the above internal and external factors are not conducive to the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation".Based on an in-depth understanding of the interview materials and scientifically revealing the motivating factors of "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation",this paper puts forward some policy Suggestions to better stimulate the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation".Using social work methods to help overcome poverty;increase the input and supervision of various special funds for poverty alleviation;strengthen cultural poverty alleviation efforts to enhance the ability of the poor people to get rid of poverty;establish and improve long-term mechanism of targeted poverty alleviation through education;strengthen vocational education and training to improve the ability of poor people to get rid of poverty;promote the spirit of self-reliance and hard work;increase investment in medical security to improve the anti-risk ability of the poor people;vigorously develop industrial poverty alleviation models and strengthen investment in social security;both get rid of poverty and single,stimulating the "endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation".
