Currently, the widespread application of information technology is driving education innovation and reform. With information technology as the starting point,it is urgent to seek teaching methods which are beneficial to the development of secondary vocational education. At present, secondary vocational schools mainly focus on the traditional teaching mode with the application of textbooks, and the limitations of the textbook after-class exercises make students lack practical application ability, which has a certain impact on the cultivation of modern-skilled,application-oriented and compound talents.Aiming at the teaching starting point of secondary vocational schools, this paper constructs the Rain Classroom and project teaching model suitable for its use, innovatively applies it to the teaching of computer application foundation course around the project teaching, and integrates the project teaching process into the whole teaching activity. The investigation found the deficiencies in the teaching of Computer Application Fundamentals in a secondary vocational school in Gansu Pingliang, this article implements a teaching method by using the Rain Classroom online teaching and releasing learning plans before class to real-time monitor the student's learning data trajectory and learning progress, then give feedback.Carrying out project-based task teaching and student-centered teaching activities, teachers can effectively observe students' needs and preferences according to the results and evaluate teaching as well so as to complete project-based teaching research better. This article mainly includes the following four stages. In the first stage, this paper identified research ideas, frameworks, and methods related to information technology courses through the analysis of the current secondary vocational education, basic computer technology,Rain Classroom and project-based teaching and the organization of relevant literature. In the second stage, through a thorough investigation of the pre-class conditions of the 2019 students in a secondary vocational school in Gansu Pingliang, this paper concluded that some students have varying degrees of mastery of computer hardware and software.Due to the impact of the limitations of traditional teaching methods on existing teaching tasks, the feasibility of implementing project-based teaching action research based on Rain Classroom vocational students is further determined. In the third stage, this paper will analyze the early progress of project-based teaching, which guided by project teaching, centered on task teaching, combined with teachers' teaching characteristics and teaching objectives. It will also design the corresponding teaching mode, teaching strategy, and teaching content.According to the students' professional training goal, design the teaching reasonably. In the fourth stage, according to the teaching tasks, there are three rounds of project-based teaching action research for one semester are carried out. Each round of action research refers to the results and deficiencies of the previous round to improve teaching problems. Finally,by comparing the practical results of the three rounds of project-based teaching, this paper stated that students in experimental classes have enhanced their learning interest significantly, and their holistic scores are higher than those of other control classes in the same period.Eventually, the expected effect is achieved through project-based teaching, which provides a reference value for future teaching.
