With the development of Economic Globalization and the Internet in the 21 st century, great changes have taken place in the manufacture forms and economy patterns. Tasks in traditional positions are substituted by typical tasks in the systematic working process, which requires workers’ greater working competence and higher integrated quality. However, the present secondary vocational education fails to meet the needs of the job market for high-skilled practical talents. The reasons lie in the single and traditional training modes, vague major orientations and imperfect curriculum system. What’s more, neither is the position requirement reasonable, nor is the teaching contents updated. The paper analyses the problems existing in the secondary vocational education in China. Besides, by introducing successful experiences of Learning Field curriculum reform in Germany, the paper also puts forward the design of the advanced systematic Working-process-oriented Curriculum, from the view of teachers, arranging the learning situations and contents of the course, Photoshop Graphics and Image Processing, based on refactoring and reorder of systematic working process and the survey of position demands. The author follows the principles of demand oriented and step process to plan the teaching project of working process and its subprojects, and then apply them in practical teaching. The main contents of this paper are listed as follows.Part 1, Chapter One Introduction, illustrates the research background of teaching reform based on the working process, introducing researches from home and abroad. Besides, it explains the purposes and significance of the present study and displays the research methods.Part 2, including Chapter Two and Chapter Three, reviews relevant theories on the teaching projects based on the working process. Chapter Two illustrates the concept and application of working process, teaching design model based on constructivism, and the action-oriented teaching model, which provides theoretical support for the following parts. Chapter Three discusses the principle, basic ideas, features, working procedures and application conditions of planning the curriculum projects, form framework for the teaching design based on the working process and giving theoretical evidence for the design of the present study.Part 3 is the fourth chapter. The author analyses the problems of the teaching of Photoshop Graphics and Image Processing, considering the features of the secondary vocational education. According to the standards of position competence and the working process, the author designs the course of Photoshop Graphics and Image Processing macroscopically and plans the teaching units with the student-center and project-driven principles. It also presents the results of the teaching practice and comments. At last, a questionnaire has been performed to assess the effects of the study. Conclusions and reflections are written in Chapter Five. It also points out the deficiency of the present study and suggests directions for future study.
