China's basic education is constantly adapting to the development of the times.In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the "opinions" to propose new curriculum reform,and subject literacy education has become the core concept of all disciplines.At present,due to the knowledge-based phenomenon of junior high school geography teaching and the empty window period of ninth grade geography learning,there are some problems in our country,such as the students' Geography literacy is not systematic,it is difficult to deal with the high school geography curriculum learning with high requirements,and the core literacy training of junior high school and senior high school is out of line.Thematic teaching is one of the teaching models explored in the new curriculum reform.According to the theory of education and teaching and the essence of geographical core literacy,considering the current difficulties in the actual teaching process of Geography in junior and senior high schools and the characteristics of comprehensive,comprehensive and life oriented thematic teaching,this paper attempts to use thematic teaching to reduce the span of geographical core literacy training and solve the problems in junior and senior high schools The problem of the incoherence of the cultivation of the core quality of management.The first part is the introduction.The second part is the concept definition and theoretical basis,focusing on the definition of the theme based teaching proposed in this paper.The geography teachers in the junior and senior high schools,guided by the curriculum standards,sort out the teaching contents,determine the main knowledge,make clear the agreement points of knowledge and skills in different teaching stages,design practical theme activity programs,and guide students to complete practical activities independently or in cooperation with others according to the programs Teaching mode.In the third part,based on the analysis of the fault phenomenon between the direction of education development and the cultivation of geographical core literacy,it is clear that the thematic teaching and the current situation of education can be compatible.The fourth part is the questionnaire analysis of teachers and students,to understand the current situation of the cultivation and achievement of the core quality of Geography in junior and senior high school,as well as the application degree and scope of thematic teaching,so as to propose solutions according to the current situation.The fifth part is the development mode of theme based teaching used to achieve the convergence of core literacy training in junior and senior high schools,including theme selection,design methods,principles,content and development model map.The sixth part is the thematic teaching design based on the connection of core literacy,case 1 "worship the JIA LING River".The purpose is to Cultivate Junior Middle School Students' geographical practical ability,comprehensive thinking and other geography science literacy,so as to lay the foundation for the follow-up senior high school geography learning of rivers,environmental protection and other contents;case 2 "understanding the earth".Senior high school students independently build a bridge between the old and new knowledge,use the mastered knowledge points of the earth and map to make a globe,on this basis,demonstrate the characteristics of the earth movement of the geographical part of senior high school,so asto further improve and effectively connect the core quality of geography.The seventh part is the conclusion.Through the research of this paper,it is proposed that:(1)thematic teaching has advantages in the realization of the convergence of the core quality of Geography in junior and senior high schools,which is a new teaching mode conforming to the reform of teaching and the development of the times;(2)thematic teaching method can effectively solve the prominent problems such as the cultivation time,cognition and target fault of the core quality in the process of geography teaching in junior and senior high schools;(3)thematic teaching Through the systematic analysis of geographical curriculum standards and teaching material content,students' cognitive development characteristics to determine the teaching theme,clear purpose to achieve the core literacy convergence,fine design to optimize teaching methods,teachers' guidance to achieve the theme goal and other logical design;(4)thematic teaching to the curriculum as the guide,combing the content of teaching materials,in order to clear the convergence point of knowledge and literacy training in junior and senior high school.The development of junior high school is conducive to students' forming the habit of independent,cooperative and inquiry learning,changing the knowledge-based phenomenon,initially forming the core quality of geography,and laying the foundation for the follow-up in-depth learning of related content.The development of senior high school helps students to clarify the logical relationship and content structure,form a clear and visible subject knowledge concept system with junior high school geography,and realize the connection of core literacy training based on related knowledge.Through the research of this paper,it strengthens the understanding of thematic teaching and deepens the thinking of the inconsistency of the core literacy training mode in the process of geography teaching in junior and senior high schools.This paper puts forward the thematic teaching methods and teaching cases based on the connection of core literacy in the junior and senior high school geography class,which is convenient for the front-line geography teachers to refer to,so as to realize the phased and comprehensive development of students.
