With the advent of the information age,the teaching mode at home and abroad gradually presents the development trend of information,intelligence and multi-dimension.In 2015,the ministry of education of China issued the notice of the 13 th five-year plan for educational informatization,which advocated the teaching modes such as mass maker space,interdisciplinary learning(STEAM education)and maker education in the information technology classrooms of primary and secondary schools in China.In recent years,with the efforts of many educators in China,good results have been achieved.However,there are still some problems in applying maker education,STEAM education and other teaching modes to the information technology classes in remote middle and primary schools in central and western China.(2)students seldom participate in learning activities with practical significance,which cannot reflect the practicability of knowledge;(3)students' lack of innovation in learning methods is not conducive to the overall development of students.To solve above problems,this article will put forward by professor merrill's primary teaching theory as the theoretical guidance,STEAM teaching ideas,design a kind of based on the primary STEAM teaching mode,teaching principle through three rounds of teaching practice to sum up the experiences of research and to improve STEAM education in rural areas and remote areas of western practice provide methods and ideas,so as to promote the STEAM education carried out in our country small and medium-sized information technology course.Finally,through data analysis,it is known that the teaching practice of this paper has won the support and praise from students.Meanwhile,the teaching mode to some extent improves students' creative thinking and group cooperation ability,and enhances their learning motivation and hands-on ability.The specific work is as follows :(1)through literature research and analysis,the research background,domestic and foreign research status,information technology development status,research purpose,content and significance,research methods,etc.(2)an overview and concept definition of STEAM education and primary teaching principles are given,and other teaching theories and reference teaching modes followed in the process of teaching mode design are sorted out;(3)analyzed and summarized the characteristics of STEAM teaching mode and primary teaching principle teaching mode and their connection,combined with the actual situation of experimental schools,constructed a STEAM teaching mode based on primary teaching principle,and designed a teaching evaluation program to test the effect of the teaching mode constructed in this paper.(4)to "stimulate","practice","practice" the three teaching goal has carried on the three stages of teaching experiment,combining with the teaching evaluation methods through the questionnaire survey method and interview method to collect experimental data,on the one hand,is used to improve the teaching mode,on the other hand is applied to the analysis of the teaching mode of learning,the research conclusion.In general,the teaching research of this paper explores the research methods and ideas for improving the existing problems of information technology classroom in primary and secondary schools in central and western China and rural areas.
