Since the information era is coming, the Information Technology has become anecessary skill for people's daily work, study and living-made. Facing the challenges fromInformation Technology (IT) of global education, our government has decided to popularizeInformation Technology education in primary and secondary schools by 5-10 years, with themain forms as to set up required courses for IT. By the practice of the InformationTechnology both at domestic and overseas we see: the method of task-driving fits forInformation Technology Courses teaching for primary and secondary schools very much. Byaction research and document retrieving, the thesis explores how to apply the task-drivingmethod in optimizing the Information Technology Courses instruction of primary andsecondary schools.The thesis consists of five parts.Part One explains the background, present situation, purposes, significance and methodsof the task-driving method instruction concisely.Part Two starts by the stages of Information Technology Courses development in ourcountry, and summarizes the characteristics of Information Technology Courses, byintroducing the task-driving method teaching and discussing its characteristics.Part Three analyzes the theory base of the task-driving method, and summarizes theessential ideas of Constructivist Learning Theory and Multi-intellectual Theory for teachingas the guides.Part Four makes a concrete design for how to apply the task-driving method ofInformation Technology Courses into classroom teaching, and with the instruction experience,we can see the task-driving method can both improve the teaching efficiency in classroominstruction and increase the information literacy and the practicing ability of students as greatpromotion.Part Five summarizes the research results of this thesis.
