Children's poetry is a children-orientated literary work which is the most beautiful poem that grows out of children's heart.It is deeply loved by children because of the concise and beautiful language,the bright rhythm,as well as so much fun.Children's poetry plays an important role in increasing children's knowledge,developing children's ability,nourishing children's soul and shaping children's fine quality.Children's poetry and the teaching of children's poetry are also concerned by many scholars.Due to the deficiencies in children's poetry teaching,children's poetry teaching does not give full play to the role of children's poetry in children's growth and development.Therefore,this paper aims to find out and analyze the problems in children's poetry teaching,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures from the children-orientated perspective.Based on previous studies and the relevant documents of Chinese teaching in primary schools,this paper involved a questionnaire on students' learning situation of children's poetry and an interview outline on teachers' teaching of children's poetry.From the three aspects of reading teaching,appreciation teaching and writing teaching of children's poetry,this work analyzed and summarized the experience and problems in children's poetry teaching.The results showed that many teachers have affirmed the position of children's poetry teaching in Chinese teaching,but there are still some problems in the actual teaching of children's poetry.At the reading teaching level of children's poetry,single teaching method and the lack of sufficient connection between readings in and out of class remains as the prominent problems.At the appreciation teaching level,there are obvious problems in interpreting texts and rigid teaching modes from the perspective of adults.At the writing level,the lack of effective guidance in writing methods and the insufficient opportunities of students to show their learning results remains as the outstanding problems.Based on the investigation of the status quo,the paper has carried on an exploration of the remaining problems from the aspects of the teacher's concepts on education and teaching,the teacher's professional qualities and the students' academic pressure.This paper also put forward the reasonable measures on reading,appreciation and writing teaching of the Children's poetry.There is no definite methods in teaching.Teachers should adjust or integrate their teaching methods according to the actual teaching situation so that children's poetry can play a real role in promoting children's growth and the children can get spiritual nourishment and vitality in children's poetry.
