Examination anxiety is a common state among middle school students.Excessive test anxiety has a serious negative impact on the learning and life of middle school students. In recent years, many studies have shown that test anxiety can affect individual's sleep quality level.Good sleep is the main sign of physical and mental health. If a person's sleep is chronically impaired, there will be a variety of physical and mental symptoms that affect learning and work.Studies have shown that the use of cognitive re-evaluation strategies can reduce the negative emotional experience of individuals, but few studies have explored the effect of individual test anxiety on sleep quality. We chose to conduct relevant research for junior high school students, from the perspective of cognitive reassessment,to explore the impact of test anxiety level on sleep quality. The study 1,We studied 359 junior high students between the ages of 14 and 17.In order to measure the test anxiety and sleep quality level of junior high school students,we adopted the following scales: Test Anxiety Inventory(TAI)and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale. The results show that the emotional dimension of test anxiety in junior high school students were significantly positively related to the total sleep quality score;the total test anxiety score was related to subjective sleep quality, time to fall asleep, sleep duration, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, and daytime dysfunction. The six factors were significantly positively correlated. After controlling for demographic variables, examination anxiety of junior high school students has a high level of influence on sleep quality. On the basis of study 1,we used 599 junior high school students aged 13-17 as the research object, and the Test Anxiety Scale(TAS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale and Emotion Regulation Questionnaire were selected to survey the relationship between the use of cognitive reassessment, test anxiety level, and sleep quality condition in junior high school students. The study found that the seven factors in the sleep scale were significantly positively correlated with test anxiety and negatively correlated with cognitive reassessment. There was a high level of positive correlation between test anxiety and sleep quality. The correlation between total sleep quality scores and cognitive re-evaluation was significantly negative correlated, and the cognitive reappraisal strategy played a moderating role between junior high school students' test anxiety and sleep quality. The results show the following conclusions:(1)Test anxiety has an impact on sleep quality of junior high school students;(2)Cognitive reappraisal strategy has a moderating effect on test anxiety and sleep quality of junior high school students.
