The change of the test event in Wuhan High School Entrance Examination after 9 years suggests the first step of innovation for physical education in WHSEE.Since 1998,the P.E.test was primarily set as a key test in WHSEE,students play more actively in P.E.class,and the fluency of exercise and time increased apparently,it has effectively stopped the consistently decreasing trend of students' physical addition.But,what kind of influence will be by adding the test event,standing long jump? How do the P.E.faculty in Jiang'an district prepare for teaching with the new policy? Will it be effective for students to learn?Does it extend or weaken the activeness for teachers to teach and students to learn?According to the Health First teaching strategy and combining the new subject goal with P.E.test policy,whether the junior high school class teaching is effective and meets the P.E.comprehensive quality requirement need further discussing.Taking the new adding test event as an opportunity,81 P.E.teachers and 2,335 students from 18 junior high school in Jiang'an district were selected in the sample group.Using the methods of literature,questionnaire,field interview,mathematical statistics,etc.,and combining with the reform process of physical education examination project in Wuhan,study the impacts on teaching and learning after the policy change,so to discover the weakness in the current stage and give some suggestion.From the history of the reform of the Wuhan Physical Education Senior High School Entrance Examination,combined with the comparison of student simulation results,it was found that after the addition of the "standing long jump" option,the overall performance of male students before and after the addition of the item increased more than that of the girl,and the selection of "standing long jump" as the test item was significantly more than girls.At the same time,because the standing long jump project has the characteristics of low threshold,strong maneuverability,and strong popularity,even in the period of special "home isolation" during the fight against the COVID-19,most teachers choose the content of each course to ensure the standing long jump performance for Improving the quality of strength to practice.current physical education work of Jiang'an District has found from multi-dimensionalsurvey data on the attitudes,teaching objectives,content,methods and importance of all parties that the policy adjustment “standing long jump”,most teachers adopt a conservative teaching strategy,It restricts the development of quality education in Jiang'an District and the improvement of the actual effect of physical education,such as school leaders and student's parents have little emphasis on improvement,the investment in modern equipment is limited.The addition of the standing long jump project can be seen from the analysis of three levels of sports ability,attitude and participation,affection and cooperation of students in Jiang'an District.Most students believe that they have no positive impact on their own technical level and are not comprehensive enough in terms of physical development.It can promote the change of students' learning attitude,enthusiasm,exercise behavior,affection and cooperation,but it is still insufficient.From the students' willingness survey,we can see that most students prefer to choose the comprehensive assessment mode of "physical fitness+ technical and tactical".
