In recent years,the development of Chinese teaching in Indonesia has begun to take shape and formed its own teaching system.The immersive teaching method adopted by the Primary School of the Little Sun Trilingual School in Indonesia allows students to quickly improve their comprehensive Chinese skills while acquiring subject knowledge,which is worthy of promotion and reference.Based on the analysis and summary of the status quo of Chinese teaching in Indonesia and the previous researches on immersive Chinese teaching models,this article takes the immersive Chinese teaching model of the Primary School of Little Sun Trilingual School as the research object and collects data through questionnaire surveys,personal interviews,tests,etc.so as to analyze and summarize the current situation of immersive Chinese teaching in the school.First,the paper analyzes the basic situation of Chinese immersive teaching in the elementary school of Little Sun Trilingual School,and summarize the important factors for the development of the school's Chinese immersive teaching,the reserve of teachers and the students' learning situation,the use of teaching materials,and the setting of the language environment.It is concluded that a connection between language classes and various subjects needs to be established.In the context of Chinese immersion,a rich linguistic environment should be established,which includes not only the daily languages in the classroom,but also the languages used in the classroom management to provide students with a sufficient amount of understandable input materials.Then,the paper summarizes the characteristics and effects of the Chinese immersive teaching practice model in Little Sun Trilingual School,as well as the disadvantages of the immersive teaching model in the school,such as the lack of correlation between the language class and the syllabus of various subjects,and the improper Chinese teaching content arrangements,low student participation in classroom activities,poor teaching facilities,and improper class schedules.Finally,this research attempts to propose measures to improve Chinese teaching in the school,such as improving the relevance of the Chinese language course to the syllabus of other subjects,optimizing the immersive teaching content,helping students build confidence,and rationally arranging immersive teaching hours so as to provide reference for the reform and development of Chinese teaching model of Indonesian elementary schools.
