Adaptability is an important part of students' psychological quality.Learning adaptability is one of the criteria to measure students' learning ability.Improving middle school students' learning adaptability is the core content of quality education in China.The adaptability level of geography learning will affect students 'geography learning effect and learning ability.If the problem of learning maladjustment can not be solved in time,it will have a negative impact on students' geography learning.For the freshmen of high school,they do not study geography in the first year of ninth grade,and they are faced with new learning environment and learning methods when they enter high school.Moreover,the lack of connection between geography teaching of high school and junior high school leads to the separation of geography teaching of high school from junior high school,which will affect the freshmen' geography of high school.Learning adaptability.Therefore,the adaptability of geography learning of Freshmen in junior high school is particularly prominent.According to the learning adaptability test(AAT)was used to measure the geographic learning adaptability of Freshmen in senior high school,and a set of mid-term geographic test papers was used to test the geographic performance of freshmen.The data obtained are mainly analyzed as follows: analysis of the overall level of learning adaptability of Freshmen in senior high school;comparison of the level of learning adaptability between men and women;analysis of the correlation between geographical performance and learning adaptability.The research shows that:1)Freshmen in senior high school are generally not well adapted to geography learning,and the current situation is not optimistic;Girls' adaptability to physical and mental health,learning technology,reading and note-taking methods,and learning enthusiasm is higher than boys';In the study of natural geography chapters,their learning adaptability is poor;Freshmen in senior high school are not well adapted to geography and learning.There is a significant positive correlation between responsiveness,that is,with the improvement of students' learning adaptability,their geographical performance will be improved to some extent.Based on the current situation of the poor adaptation of the freshmen togeography learning and the characteristics of geography teaching in junior and senior high schools,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the adaptability of geography learning from the aspects of learning method guidance,geography teaching in junior and senior high schools,learning environment,mental and physical health,adaptability and so on.Bad transformation;Optimize junior and senior high school biology teaching,smooth transition link,help students adapt to learning;Optimize the learning environment,create a good learning and living atmosphere;Do a good job of learning psychological counseling,promote the healthy development of freshmen' mind and body.
