At present,China is in a stage of rapid social & economic development. The process of urbanization has progressed fast, and the urbanized land use is closely related to the other geofactors. The analysis relation between urbanized land use and other geofactors can provide data support for more reasonable development of regional urbanization and decision-making basis.Remote sensing and GIS technology tools are used to establish a database of urbanized land utilization in the typical counties of Zhengzhou and the Yiluo River Basin in different years(2001,2007,2013,2016).The present situation and change of urbanized land use in each research area are also analyzed. The surface water and slope information of the research area are extracted based on remote sensing image and digital elevation model.Different modified Shannon entropy formulas on 2km×2km grid scale are used to calculate the spatial distribution diversity of land features such as urban land, transportation land, slope gradient, surface water and soil. The relationship between urbanized land use and other geofactors is also explored by using mutual entropy correlation analysis and partial correlation analysis. The main conclusions are as following:(1)Different forms of urbanized land use should be used through different modified Shannon entropy formulas.MSHDLI index can be used as an important index to describe the spatial distribution and number features of transportation land while MSHDAI index is used to describe the spatial distribution of urban land.As a whole, the urbanization process of Zhengzhou research sample area is faster than that in the study area of the Yiluo River Basin. The land use of urbanization is mainly concentrated in downtown Zhengzhou and Luoyang city. The urbanization process of other counties is slower due to their limitation natural factors. It can provide more reasonable data support for regional urbanization process by comparing spatial distribution diversity index and traditional indexes.(2)The distribution of geofactors varies in different regions of Zhengzhou city and typical counties of Yiluo River Basin. The composition of slope gradient and soil of Zhengzhou city research area is relatively simple. The main distribution of Zhengzhou city is 0°-8° suitable slope gradient,Hapli Ustic Argosol and Ochri-Aquic Cambosols. And the surface water body has been in more reasonable place in recent years with the urbanization process. The slope and soil composition of the Yiluo River Basin are complex.Besides the suitable slope gradient, high grade slope also has been distributed more and it is suitable for the development of soil types such as Hapli-Udic Argosols and Lithic Orthic Primosol. The surface water area and spatial distribution diversity index have been increasing in recent years.(3)There is a certain correlation between different geofactors.Except for the main distribution in low-grade slope, surface water also distributes more on mid-high-grade slope gradient where it is suitable for water flow gathering in the valley conditions.Slope gradient and soil are closely related with high correlation,72% of which the coefficient is higher than 0.50.Each soil group tends to be concentrated in some certain slope gradients. And the classification and distribution of different soil types are also related to slope grading. The surface water is negatively correlated with soil when the urbanization progress has less effect.(4)The land use of urbanization is influenced by the suitable slope and surface water. The effect of suitable slope on transportation land is higher than that on urban land in Zhengzhou city while the effect of suitable slope on urban land is higher than that on transportation land in Yiluo River Basin. The degree of urbanized land use disturbance to soil in different study area is different. The disturbance by urban and transportation land is obvious on low-grade slope gradient. And recent years, the soil classes of the main perturbations in Yiluo River Basin have been transformed from low grade slope soil to high grade slope soil...
