A Study On Farmers' Poverty Status And Poverty Countermeasures In Guanyang County,Guangxi Autonomous Region

This paper takes the farmers in Guanyang County of Guangxi as the research object.Under the background of achieving a well-off society in an all-round way in 2020,this article focuses on the status quo of farmers'poverty and its causes in Guanyang County,and put forward specific countermeasures against poverty.On the basis of reading relevant domestic and foreign literature,the city and county poverty alleviation offices and related poverty households were visited through field investigations,and corresponding questionnaires were issued.Based on the analysis of related theories of a well-to-do society and poverty elimination strategy,the location of Guanyang County in Guangxi and the development process of peasants' poverty elimination were discussed.Combining the current situation of Guanyang in Guangxi,according to relevant data analysis,the status quo of peasant poverty is specified:(?)large poverty population and deep poor degree;(?)poverty reduction is slowing while someone backs into poverty;(?)economic poverty,such as single impoverished farmers' income sources and vulnerable to natural disasters;(?)farmers' cultural rights poverty,for example,without well-established rural social security and medical system;(?)large difference between poverty among ethnic minority and non-ethnic rural residents.This article summarizes six specific countermeasures against poverty:(1)continuing to implement a dynamic and accurate poverty elimination measures and accelerating the taking targeted measures against poverty dynamically;(2)strengthening financial support and speeding up the eradication of bottlenecks in Guanyang County;(3)strengthening the social security system and ensuring that the poverty alleviation funds are transparent;(4)improving their inner motivation,and alleviating their poverty as well as supporting them to pursuit dreams;(5)guiding the participation of social forces and creating a good environment for helping them;(6)reinforcing the organization leadership and normalizing inspection supervision.
