Research On The Influence Of The Development Of Integrated Transportation Hub On Urban Economic Growth

Modern integrated transport hub has more far-reaching influence on the city's economic growth.That is in a certain region of space within the intensive utilization of infrastructure and factors of production,efficient join any mode of transport,by means of advanced transportation management and organizations,the flow of area passenger and cargo operations' traffic center or transportation.With its convenient location advantages and notable policy advantages,Zhengzhou vigorously develops the transportation industry and becomes the hub of all the economic zones in the country.In October 2011,it was determined to establish as a national comprehensive transportation hub city by the state.At the same time,the economic growth of Zhengzhou has shown remarkable performance,The GDP spans three hundred billion in five years,and its ranking in the national economy continues to improve.In 2016,the GDP reached 799.42 billion yuan,only second behind Wuhan in the central city,and always maintain a high level of economic growth.So,under the background of the rapid growth of Zhengzhou's economy and the strong support of the government for the development of the integrated transport hub in Zhengzhou,the development of the integrated transport hub in Zhengzhou has an impact on the economic growth of the city,and in what way it affects the economic growth.By studying relevant literatures,we find that the above problems still have room to study:(1)The current research focuses on the direct impact of the integrated transport hub on economic growth and the empirical analysis of specific traffic hub nodes in the city,but rarely analyses the impact of the development of the hub on economic growth from the perspective of the urban integrated transport hub;(2)The research on comprehensive transportation hub in is mainly qualitative analysis and lacks quantitative research.Therefore,we construct the theoretical analysis framework of the development of integrated transportation hub for economic growth from two paths of direct and indirect effects.The direct influence means that the development of integrated transportation hub can effectively promote the reduction of transportation cost and the accessibility,then it could improve the flow of production factors and the efficiency of enterprise production in the hub in order to directly drive the urban economic growth;The indirect influence means that the development of integrated transportation hub can effectively attract manufacturing and productive service industry by changing the location conditions and produce scale effect,which could create agglomeration benefits and indirectly promote the city's economic growth.Finally,the paper uses the objective data to carry out the empirical analysis of the development of Zhengzhou comprehensive transportation hub with economic growth.In order to verify the mechanism of the development of an integrated transport hub and the city's economic growth,this paper analyzes the impact of the development of Zhengzhou comprehensive transportation hub on economic growth from two aspects of direct and indirect effects.Using the entropy weight method to deal with the 31 development indicators of hub to measure the development of the comprehensive transportation hub.At the same time,we use the location entropy of manufacturing and producer services to measure the industrial agglomeration.Then the paper conducts the co-integration analysis of the direct impact of the development of comprehensive transportation hub on economic growth and the co-integration analysis of the relationship between the development of comprehensive transportation hub and economic growth through the industrial agglomeration.We find that the development of comprehensive transportation hub and the growth of economy in Zhengzhou have a long-term and stable equilibrium relationship.In the end,we put forward the relevant development suggestions.
