Study On The Career Training Of The Clinical Research Coordinator Of Site Management Organization In China

These years,more and more foreign pharmaceutical enterprises choose to conduct clinical trials in China,with Site Management Organization(hereinafter referred to as "SMO")developing greatly,SMO clinical research coordinator becomes a key role in this industry.But the human resource management of CRC is still weak and there are lots of deficiencies in training of CRC.If we don't solve this problem,it will take negative influences to the quality of clinical research.Therefore,it has great significances for the research of training for CRC.This article investigated and analyzed the vocational training status of clinical research coordinator of SMO in China by questionnaire survey and case interview and the study found out that there are several problems: training is not enough,training demand survey is not in place,the match of mode and content of training is not good,the combination of training and career development is not high,the training effect evaluation is not satisfactory,etc.And this article provides some suggestions: establish an unified management standards and CRC training certification system,establish a mature and applicable training system in SMO,set up a special CRC management department in hospital,set up a separate "clinical trial area" in hospital,form a support group for CRA and CRC,improve the personal attention on vocational training of CRC,etc.
