Regional Spatial Pattern Evolution And Influence Factors In Northeast China

Regional spatial pattern is the spatial performance of economic activities in various regions,it reflects the characteristics of economic activity in the region and its relationship in space,it was the focus of intense discussion in the academic community since the1990 s.During the ‘Thirteenth Five-Year Plan' period,breaking the boundaries between administrative divisions and the market,optimizing the spatial pattern is one of the main tasks in China.The Northeast region of China is the important old industrial base,however,since the reform and opening up,the economic growth in the northeastern region has been slow,and the industrial transformation has been difficult.Especially in the early 1990 s,the economic status of the northeastern region has declined significantly.In 2003,the State Council formally proposed to implement the Strategy of Revitalizing Northeast China.However,it did not fundamentally solve the problem of insufficient economic growth in the Northeast.In recent years,the economic growth in Northeast China has experienced a new round of declining trend.In 2016,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the “Several Opinions on Implementing the Revitalization Strategy of Northeast China and Other Old Industrial Bases”.Northeast China is still one of the key areas of China to achieve comprehensive and coordinated development.With the improvement of the level of urbanization and marketization,the spatial pattern of the Northeast has also undergone tremendous changes,with significant difference within the region.The analysis of the evolution characteristics and mechanism of the spatial pattern in the Northeast China is an important requirement for the implementation of the strategy for promoting the rejuvenation of Northeast China.The content of this paper is divided into the following seven parts.The first part introduces the background of the research,the thinking and main content of the research,theresearch methods and data sources,the significance and purpose of the research.The second part shows the review of related theories and research,it collated and analyzed domestic and foreign research results on regional spatial pattern analysis methods,influence factors,and the spatial pattern of the Northeast region.The third part shows the social and economic development of Northeast China,it gives an overview of the social and economic development of Northeast China from two aspects:economic development,population and urbanization.The fourth part shows the analysis of the evolution of the spatial pattern of county development in Northeast China,it starts with the comprehensive development of the county,and firstly uses the PCA method to measure the comprehensive development level of all the counties in the Northeast of the four years,so as to observe the evolution characteristics of the regional spatial pattern in the northeast region.The fifth part shows the influence factors of regional spatial pattern in Northeast China,it has studied the impact on the regional spatial pattern of Northeast China from eight aspects:location and transportation,population and urbanization,the degree of industrialization,investment capacity,central city radiation,the degree of the outside world,innovation and policy.The sixth part analyzes the future spatial pattern organization of Northeast China by using the gravity model,urban flow strength and the fracture point theory.The seventh part elaborates the conclusions and deficiencies of this research.
