With the continuous development of urbanization, the urban traffic pressure is increasing, and metro has become the most reliable means of transportation for citizens,Shenzhen metro has ushered in a new era of leap-forward development. However, based on the high-risk operation characteristics such as semi-closed and personnel intensive, the facts that the construction period of the subway is shortened, the investment of high and new equipment, and the imbalance of operation personnel supply and demand will increase the risk of operation safety management. At present, the risk assessment of metro operation at home and abroad is mainly qualitative, the MTR corporation centers on the establishment of a qualitative index system to develop risk assessment systems and regulations. However, for complex subway operation risk factors, only qualitative analysis can't accurately grasp the magnitude and harm degree of risk.On the other hand, the complex quantitative model is not applicable to subway operation practice.Aiming at the above problems, the paper introduces the risk matrix evaluation method widely used in the risk management of American defense acquisition, and combines qualitative and quantitative methods to comprehensively evaluate the operation risk of Shenzhen metro.Firstly, the risk factors of Shenzhen metro are identified and analyzed according to the risk consequence criteria and risk probability criteria;Secondly, the risk factors were evaluated according to the risk importance criterion; Then,by using Borda sequence value method, the risk factor importance ranking optimization risk matrix was carried out. Finally, the risk factor weight is determined by the analytic hierarchy process, and the risk level of Shenzhen metro operation system is comprehensively evaluated by combining the risk matrix risk quantization value.Through the risk assessment of subway operation based on risk matrix,it can not only provide decision support for Shenzhen metro operation risk control, optimize resource allocation, improve management efficiency.Besides,it can also promote the development of qualitative and quantitative research in the field of subway operation risk assessment. Therefore,it provides some guidance and reference for the risk assessment of Chinese subway operating enterprises.
