The Research On The Relationship Between Science And Technology Input And Patent In China

In the era of knowledge economy,patent is the most important information resources to identify innovation and competitive advantage.Patent has become an important indicator to measur the innovation ability and competitive power for a country,region or industry.Patent is an important output of science and technology activities.Science and technology input is the basic condition of science and technology activities and realizing science and technology innovation.As the basis of science and technology innovation,science and technology input has become an important factor for regional innovation ability.The science and technology input is different in different regions.And the patent output is different in different regions.This paper discusses the regional differences of science and technology input and patent.And we research deeply the relationship between regional science and technology input and patent.So we can provide support for the regional innovation strategy selection.In this paper,the author analyzes the concepts and situation of science and technology input and patent.And we research the definition of the science and technology resources from science and technology activity funds,human resources and information resources.And we research the differences of regional science and technology input.In the empirical research,we used the method of gray relational analysis to research the relevance of science and technology input and patents in different regions.And we use econometric model to research them deeply.The study found that the patent continues to increase.In the aspect of area,the patent and science and technology input in China is unbalanced.The eastern region is very different from the central and western regions,and the patent and the science and technology input of the eastern regions is much higher than that of the central and the west.In terms of correlation and impact analysis,the importance and influence of science and technology input are different in different regions.Therefore,we should determine the reasonable input intensity and adopt different technology input strategies for different regions,so we can enhance regional innovation ability and regional competitiveness.
