The Research On Innovation Ability Differences Of The Major Minorities In Dali Prefecture

“Innovation is the soul of a nation's progress and an inexhaustible motive force for a nation's prosperity”.To a great extent,the level of a nation's ability of innovation determines the level of economic and social development in a national or ethnic gathering area.Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture is located in the western part of Yunnan Province of our country.It is a typical backward area for ethnic minorities.There are many differences in economic development and scientific and technological strength.However,it does not mean that there is no need or no innovation in less developed regions.On the contrary,under the background of president Xi Jinping'New Era,under the policy of getting rid of poverty and achieving a moderately prosperous society,a crucial mean for Dali to realize economic leaps-forward development and sustainable development is to actively promote the regional realization of the innovation-driven strategy.Innovation will be the double engine and big engine of the particular industry with local characteristics in Dali.The article built an evaluation system of the basic national innovation capability of Dali and an evaluation system of Dali's innovation ability of major minorities.It includes 8 first-level indicators and 28 second-level indicators,and substitutes the data to calculate the index system at all levels.And it summarizes the final score situation,then reflects innovation ability differences of the major minorities in Dali through the score and each indicator evaluation system.The study found that the major minorities in Dali Prefecture have great differences in innovation ability.Bai is the best,followed by Han,Hui,Yi and Lisu,of which the Han,Bai and Hui are closer to the overall score,ahead of Yi and Lisu.The study found that there are differences in the major minorities' innovation abilities in Dali Prefecture,which also reflected in different aspects.At the same time,ethnic areas are innovative and possess some resources of innovation and superiority.The development of ethnic areas requires an innovation.Innovation can take place in more than one dimension,not just in science,technology,etc.The innovation in minority areas needs to take full account of the actual conditions in the region and suitmeasures to local conditions at most.
